Your honest opinion is requested on my portfolio site ...
Hi I put this site together to showcase some of my work. I'm trying to establish myself as a freelancer. Here is the url:
Please let me know what you think and how I can improve it. I also need to know how it displays in different browers. I only have IE and Opera.
Many Thanks,
- sybru

In FireFox everything looks fine except the text runs over. Go to download.com and get some software so that you can test it on multi browsers so you can see what it looks like. With your portfolio it's kinda hard to understand that you can go to the next page and previous. I'd label that. Looks good though!

The text is running over in Opera too.
Overall, this looks really nice. It doesn't look like a programmer's portfolio which is a nice change. Do make sure to anti-alias your text. The nav graphics and logo would look a lot better if they were. I llike the way you've changed the colour schme on each page, but I don't like the colour choice for the portolio page. Maybe try a tan or orangey colour.

Looks gorgeous to me ... unfortunately, it makes me think I may have to do a lot more work on many of my own sites to be able to match up to the level of design you are presenting.
Very attractive, very nice graphics, and everything seems to work very well for me. But then, I'm also on the plain vanilla (IE) browser, so I don't see the problems others have mentioned.

I'm on dialup so your splashpage only showed the 'enter' link for a while, also the left margin is darker blue while thr right margin blends with the image.
Inside pages are a bit like the splash page, bg images are around 30kb so we see an unfinished page until the background loads (backgrounds load last)
text runs off the screen in mozilla firebird as well
might want to validate your code, px is a CSS element, not HTML
including a DOC tag may fix your overflow problems, quirks mode is quirky

Hello very nice site. I've viewed it a couple of times and eery time I come to the welcome screen my mouse goes naturally over the text ShamekasPlace.com and I want to click that to enter. Not a big deal, but its hard to find anything else to critizise.

Thanks so much for all of your feedback! Its been very helpful! I have implemented some of your suggestions. Unfortunately I haven't gotten to everything yet. I fixed the text run-over problem. I also changed the color of the portfolio page. I know that I still have work to do on the splash screen. I'll likely be making ongoing tweaks here and there as time allows.
Thanks again for your help

I don;t really like the layout, or size. However the best part is your portfolio, I like the way that works. I would try to get some better graphics going on your site, its just ok right now but nothing that stands out.
