I think it looks great. Only thing I can think of is putting a line down the right side of it.
Great Job!

1) You need more than just a text logo. Create something really cool, and see what you come up with.
2) The menu is ok, but: a) add some mouseovers, and b) add bullets next to each link.
3) I'd create a border of some sort down the right side of the page. That, or add a column with stuff.
4) You need more content.
I don't like it much at all. If this is your web design company site, then show what you can do!

I agree - it doesn't look like a designer's site at all. With something like this you have to go all out and really impress your potential clients. A fancy logo would be a good start. Try playing with some unique colour combinations too, or something different than the standard left side navigation. Visit http://www.coolhomepages.com and get some ideas for cutting edge design.

Thank you. No problem- lurk much, post little, learn lots.
No real background, except an inquisitive mind (want to know how things work) that got me into making web pages.
I have no formal training in computers. I have large holes in my knowledge base, which I try to fill by lurking here and other places. I contribute when I think I can help.
Nice place you have here.

Matt,
Have you viewed this in NS? For once NS is following instructions- width="992" in your body text cell really is. I had to go to full screen at 1280 to eliminate the scroll.
I'm going to be a dissenting voice here. There is a segment of the client base that looks for a clean, simple, fast loading site. While graphics are certainly not precluded, you can have an effective site without them. Web designers won't like it, but we're all jaded, right?
Evaluate your visitors (if you can). Going to a Chamber of Commerce meeting and asking the members what they think of your site is a good way to get feedback from the very people you are targeting. See what they think.
I'd agree that you might want to rethink your colors, these are a bit too muted. And Justin and Megan have a point about the actual layout of the page. It is somewhat dated.
