What do you mean it's misaligned?
Hello,
Okay, here's the situation. I have a potential client looking at my page with a MAC and Netscape 4.* of all things. He told me that none of my links work, the flash on the right and the ones along the bottom and the text is all misaligned and stuff. If anyone has a MAC could you please take a look and maybe give me some insight. If you are using MSIE 4+ you are redirected to a dynamic page but my client wouldn't be seeing this page with his configuration. So it's the http://www.jagdesign.ca/index.html page that he had trouble with using a netscape 4.something browser.
I think it might not be the MAC so much that is the problem but the Netscape version. So if you have some version of Netscape 4 loaded with Windows you can take a look too.
Anyways, thanks in advance for you help, it is greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
John Fraser

I'm using Netscape 4.7 on windows
I'll have to try again later, it timed out 3 times, even on IE5

ok, I'm in now as well.
No alignment problems in either browser (IE6, NN4.78) although Netscape did crash once. This could be coincidence.
Ah, perhaps he means VERTICAL alignment. In IE, all your content is top aligned while in Netscape, it appears to be middle aligned - most noticeable on the shorter pages such as Credits, Resource, and Contact.
Another annoyance in Netscape is the fact that your Flash Navigation redraws itself (rather slowly) at each page change.
I should add that I'm on PC, not Mac

Thanks for the feedback. I'm aware of the slowness of the dynamic page because of all the javascript that goes with it. I wasn't aware that it was loading so slow in netscape though. Perhaps it is my hosting company because I haven't received any complaints about speed before.
Thanks, it's a frustrating problem.

You guys have said that it loads slow... how many seconds are we talking about and what kind of connections do you have?
Thanks

Its loading a lot faster today, I checked a few pages, all loaded between 10 and 15 seconds on 56k modem (connected at 115.2kbps).
since I wasnt the only one having trouble the other day, I'd guess your host was having a busy day
"busy day" is no relation to me

I'm on cable here. The flash nav doesn't load any slower in Netscape than it does in IE, it is just that it RE-loads every page. Not mind-numbing slow, just annoying-slow - about 5 seconds or so?
