I would:

1. narrow down those black borders a bit
2. make an interesting graphic logo
3. try a more unique colour scheme.
4. increase the font size on the left navbar (will be miniscule on Mac & Linux machines and you've got room in the table there)

It looks okay but could be better I think.

Hmm...looking at your listings ... Now, if I was looking for a paper on a site like this, I would want to know what level it was written for. I mean, if I was in, say, the 9th grade I wouldn't want to submit a paper that was written for a 12th grade class - that would make it obvious to the teacher that I didn't write it myself. It would also be nice to know what grade the original author got for it - you wouldn't want to submit something that was far above or below your usual level.

Megan's idea of listing what grade level it was written for was very good. The other points were too! A site can almost always be improved, but I'm not really in a good position to say.
Are there any interview reports on your site?? I have to do an interview on a programmer, but I don't know any besides my uncle, and he's been retired for eight years.

Cheers

Megan's last idea was good.

- I think you should add a real logo instead of just the text.

- You also might want to change the colour scheme and change some of that purple to a different color like orange or something.

Just my thoughts!
