You might want to have a look at your site at 800x600, setting your table to 988 causes a big scroll bar

Hello, Genjamin. Welcome back to TWF! Since you haven't been around in awhile we do request that you pay attention to our posting agreement and review some other sites.

I remember reviewing this site in the other forum I participate in. Please review my comments about it there. webmaster-talk.com.

I think that's entirely unacceptable. You can cut and paste or choose to not comment on this thread. Directing people to other forums during a critique is not good.

Directed to Suzanne: The comments I made about his Web site on the other forum we're made just before I came on to this forum. They were important comments that I wanted him to read but did not have the time to return to the other forum to find, cut and past the comments into this forum. I hardly think this is unacceptable.
What is unacceptable - since you are a moderator representing this forum - is your disregard to positive customer service. Although this is a free service, I am still a customer of this service. If I violated any rules by asking Genjamin to return to the other forum in which we both participate to get my reviews, then I would expect to be politely told so. Not by making blatantly rude comments.

STFU ***!!!
Anyways, back to the review. I guess I am slightly puzzled as to what the purpose of the site is. I read the about page, but all I really got out of it was that it started as a spoof on movies?
Anyways.....looks good in Netscape for the most part
- Broken link here : http://www.whiteleyforlife.com/monkeycrusades.htm
-The single reply/response to Ask Adam shows him flaming someone...might want to remove it?
Other then that the color scheme looks good and all.

You're welcome to your opinion. A reasonable person would assume that the original poster would be aware of where s/he posted for review and would check back. It is not necessary to point to other forums, nor is it polite. Other users here, if they want to hear your opinion, will have to go to another forum and search for the thread.
I wasn't impolite, I was direct. This forum is a community, not a service.

For those who don't wish to go hunting, the important comments were as follows, made May 18th, 10:27 AM:
I cannot impress enough upon people who want actual reviews how important it is to respond to the reviews with both changes to your work and ongoing dialogue about it. The more you engage in the community, the more the community will engage with you, meaning you'll get deeper and more beneficial feedback on your site.

Not to mention that if you put some effort into reviewing other sites you'll be sure to get better feedback on your own site. This isn't a free lunch. And putting some effort into reviewing other sites requires something more than a meaningless two line response. Engage with others and they'll engage with you in return. That's how it works.

Directed to Megan. I have never posted my Web site for review on this Web forum nor do I plan to. I was only contributing my input to others. And many of the reviews I have written for both forums have been very detailed.
I can't even believe that we are arguing about this completely irrevalant issue. There were no rules about mentioning a review I have made on another site. Instead of asking me nicely not to do this, you guys are attacking me. It's so pointless. If you would have just said, please don't do this again, then I would have said fine and never did it again. It's that simple.
And talking about poor reviews, look at mjs416. The only thing worth reading about in his review was the broken link he reported. And you will find the same for 90% of the reviews on this Web site. They are all short and say a lot of nothing.

Nice try on the smart, intellectual responses though, gave me a good laugh. If you would like to continue this flame fest, please let us do it over pm and not ruin anymore of this thread

IMO mjs416's review was pretty good, made 5 valid points but we aren't here to discuss everyone's reviews.
Some people go all out, some mention small things.
If it was my site I'd want to know if people didn't understand it, or if it looked ok in their browser and if my icons/thumbnails were to big, if there were typos ....
It's quality of the review not quantity

And, once again, the original poster hasn't returned to check for his "reviews" -- we might as well get a good discussion out of it.
The point is not irrelevant, carmack. If you'd like us to add a rule that should be common sense, we can do that. No one is attacking you, either. You are welcome to contribute to other threads here, I think it would be great if you did.
You, however, appear to be attempting to attack other members -- specifically myself & mjs (who was jokingly pointing out that I wasn't rude by providing you with an actual rude comment). I say "appear to be" because the accusations were so baseless it's hard to take them seriously -- ditto for your comments about the quality of his review.
No one has a problem here with disagreements, we actually rather enjoy them, and learn a considerable amount about what we're working on and other people by having them. This thread alone has helped the moderators brainstorm on some possible options for guiding users in giving a review, for instance.
If you want to make the place better, please do contribute. But do realize that when we post, we usually are posting not just to the person who asked the question/asked for the review, we are also posting to all the people to lurk and learn in the background.

First Suzanne: Thanks for your final comments. They were extremely respectful and that was all I asked for from the beginning.
Now MJS: I was not intending to spam whatsover. I have no affiliation (besides participating in reviews) with the other forum nor do I care about its success. I was just in a hurry, threw my comment up there and didn't think that much about it. As to my comments about 90% of the reviews are crap - what I meant was that most of the reviews that I read on this site are vague and just tell the site designer that the site looks pretty good when typically it needs a lot of work. Telling someone that something is good when it is not does not help them to improve. That is all I meant by that.
Directed to anyone who is reading this post: I apologize if anyone took the comments posted here the wrong way. They were not meant to be that way. I think that generally I provide good reviews, although I would agree that this one was rushed and not done to the best of my ability. I hope that most of you find my reviews to be rather helpful. I enjoy participating in these communities and look forward to continuing to do so.
