Here is my take on the site:

  • Sparseness - It looks a bit sparse. I don't know if you plan on adding more content later. In particular, the yellow sidebar looks pretty bare with only a few links on it. Maybe consider moving the link at the bottom of the page to a space there.
  • WOW factor - The site doesn't have much WOW factor either. The ZD Net editor's pick is the only thing that wows someone. You might include a quote from a user about how great the software is.
  • Why this product. You also need to explain better very quickly what your product does and why everyone should have it.
  • Top Banner - Consider adding a top banner to get your name out there a bit.
  • Netscape - For some reason the page choked loaded in about 5 minutes in Netscape (using Linux), compared to seconds in Opera, IE.
  • Code - Go-Live can make pretty pages but it has a tendency to use some bad or deprecated code like 'center', 'absmiddle', 'baseline', 'font', etc. While these work in most browsers, they are being phased out in favor of stylesheets.

Overall I liked the site because it was plain. The color scheme wasn't bad either. Just with a little touching up and adding of content, it should be a great site.

i tried loading your site 2 times in netscape and it stalled bad both times, second time ended up crashing my browser.

i havnt even seen the site yet so i cant offer any input on your design, but you definately need to sort out the netscape problem as i see the above poster had similar problems.

The yellow side bar thingy is just too plain. Try using some more graphics or something on it. Also it looks like you chopped off it's head or something because it doesn't have a banner or atleast a nice big title. It needs some kind of logo that will stick in peoples mind so that every time they see your logo the remember your site.

Looking good !!!

A few coments,
1. It seems that the white part of the page where the content is should be a starndard width, while browseing the site it was full width on the front page, yet on the contact page it was only half the width of the page

2. I think it would be better if maby the white and yellow parts of the page has rounded corners. Just to give a smooth effect

3. You need somthing up the top like a company logo or somthing it looks like somthing is missing at the moment.

4. The netscape 4 thing too, tock areound 2 minutes here to load but looked fine, loaded fine in ie 5.5 ns6 and op5

hope it helps Smiling
