Nice to see that you've gotten rid of the splash screen, but the frames are just not working here. The top frame with the logo and stuff is taking up almost half the page! I think it really looks tacky when a scrolling frame has the same colour background as a stationary frame - it doesn't make sense when the background is all one colour yet part of it is moving around.

THe content in the middle needs some rearranging. THe font size is too small - never go smaller than the default unless it's for things like copyright statements. Fonts show up smaller on Mac and Linux machines, so anything smaller than the default is really hard for those people to read.

Also keep your text a little further away from the edge of the page. Shorter lines make text easier to read (notice how a lot of print media does this). Also try to keep your text short and to the point - bulleted lists and headings help to break up content and make it easier to read (it has often been said that it is harder for people to read from a screen than it is to read from a paper)

The font on the navigation menu is also hard to read - that needs to be changed.

Your design is a little plain and boring - more colour would be a big help.

Jose,

Your site keeps improving with each of your posts

I agree that you might want to get rid the frames. They really aren't neccessary I think and the top one is a bit big.

The naviagtion is nice but the links themselves in the top frame are a bit hard to read. You also might think of adding text links at the bottom of all your pages. Another small thing with the naviagtion is disabling the link for the page you are on (something you can't do with frames).

The content is way to wide and is crowding the sides of the page. You might think about breaking up the text a bit with some pictures and moving the text away from the edges.

I also agree that the color is a bit blah.....you need another color to bring alive I think. What color suites do you all wear when you play? Those colors might be a good starting place. The colors that come to mind when I think of Mariachi is black (or dark blue), white, red and silver. I grew up in Northern California where there was a large Hispanic population so seeing a Mariachi band at festivals, fairs and that sort of thing was very common!

IT takes me a pretty long time to load. It is getting better but not quite there yet.

As Megan said. The Frames are just not working for me. I also agree how it is taking up half the page! Get rid of the frames entirely and move the navigation to the left or right and move the logo to the top left or top right depending on where the navigation is.

I also don't like how that thing appears on the left when I put my mouse over 'Web Interaction' it confuses me.

Overall your site is pretty good. It isn't the best and it sure isn't the worst I've seen. Keep up the good work and keep improving.

Thank you everyone for your help. The first time I submitted my site, I felt smaller than this dot . , but I was not going to give up and will not give up until I become as great as you guys. Thanks again.
