Hi Guys,

I have just launched a new Webmaster forum website with many popular topics on it.
I am trying to promote it to get the new moderators to help me get the site going as well as the new forum members.
The website URL is: http://www.webmasterforumsonline.com and I am planning to add many more helpful features to it in the near future.

Any suggestions for improvements or additional categories requests are welcome.

If anyone is interested to become a member of this site or be a forum moderator, please visit the site and register.

You can also email me if you wish moderate it. [email protected]

Thanks,
Ron.

Thanks for reviewing some sites.

Seems your bandwidth must be quite high, the page never stops loading, every second its loading targetpoint.
At 800x600 there is a horziontal scroll bar
Heaps of empty topics, maybe remove this until the borad gets bigger then add as needed
the ads (top and bottom) cry out "money first, help second"
The 'bold and red, even resized' links on hover is so last decade, is this a webmaster forum or kids homework ? try it at 800x600 and see who much of a pain that is (the forum index link).
looks like part of your threads pages are being cut off as the index has the copyright etc the internal pages dont.
setting your margins to 0 is a bad idea as it makes it look like the content is cut off as it's not compatiable with the browser being used.

IMO a webmaster forums should lead by example - the right way. Needs a few tweaks, good luck

I agree with Busy. You don't need to make a forum about every possible topic that people might want to discuss. Keep them general and you'll look busier. Do a search in this forum for other forums that have been reviewed. The advice is usually the same.

I would add, in this case, that there is way, way, way too much text on here. Nobody is going to want to read that. In fact, my eyes are glazing over just looking at it. There is so much to read that I don't want to read any of it. I'm just going to leave (and this is what could happen with any visitors you get).

Ya, I have to agree with Busy.

First off, the site is waaaay too busy (no pun intended). I see this and I want to have a seizure. There's simply too much information at once.

Also, for only 11 members, you have way too many forums. Scale it down a bit until you get more members to fill those forums.

Also, the page is way too wide. I'm at 1280x1024 here at work, and the page barely fits there. Do you really want people to have to scroll to read things?

Overall, it needs a lot of work.

Good luck.

First thing I thought when I seen it, way too much going on, nobody is going to make the time to read it all, they just want to get to the action fast.

No offense, but is their really a need for 5 forums on Search engines, one or two maybe, but not 5, seems excessive to me.....

Validation is poor, 196 errors on the front page alone, and you have commited the cardinal sin of not declaring a doctype.....

It takes too much time to read your page and find the topics that I am interested in. It would be better to have a cleaner first page. It seems you intend to have search engine, website promotion, advertising topics be your major content.
