That is possibly one of the worst sites I have ever looked at. The graphics were so out dated. The Flash portion of your website was so basic. I don't like that mouse-over script because it moves so slow. You are trying to put to much script on one page.
I don't know what moron would hire you to design a website.

Ahh...hmmmm
Well, I think you may need to re-think here. The graphics are awful. Just moving my mouse around on the page made me sea sick. Too much going on. You have something spinning at the top, a flashing divider line, words following the mouse around(definatley annoying). Then when you mouse over a link, that huge enter thing pops up plus the other that pops up describing the link. Why do you have that whole paragraph at the bottom as a rollover? Background is terrible and did you know that you have an image of a scrollbar on the right? COntact button is covering text. You definately make use of keywords in "alt" tag. I am not really smart when it comes to search engine placement but I would say that this would be a perfect example of spamming the engines. Someone correct me if I am wrong please so I will know if it helps to put all of those meta this and meta that tags. I wish you much luck.

background is quite terrible.
animations too.
text effects too - just make it a plain text really. none of that glowing gold
don't have those mouseovers - much too tacky.

Is it down right now?
EDIT: Never mind - I got in eventually (my employer's internal DNS was acting stupid).
Um, other than fixing the Javascript errors that the site flashes immediately upon entry, I would suggest (in addition to everyone's rollover comments, which I agree wholeheartedly with) losing the text that follows the cursor. What's worse is that the text takes a few seconds appear which makes me as a user think that I just hovered or clicked on something to make it appear (not just having moved my mouse).
With all due respect, this site would have had serious issues even back in 1997.

Oh my..........
Those roll overs are nasty.
If you want people to take you serious and you want to draw people in. Change it drasticly!!!!!
The site and how it looks gets you jobs, not the words on it

Hmmmmmmmmm........A phrase springs to mind here "Just because you can doesn't mean you should!" I'm sorry to say you have just about everything you shouldn't have on a website which just makes it look very old and un-updated (is that a word??)
The rollovers look like you have taken the roll'over from something else!
If the examples are websites you have created for companies then show them in proper browser windows not squashed into those popups.
If you want people to take you seriously as a web designer then you need a very good, professional looking site. Choose a colour scheme, get rid of all the tacky bits, sort out a good layout and make things make sense & not open in all sorts of other windows and get rid of all advertising.
You have an SEO part but it looks like you have just copied stuff from other websites (I apologise if you haven't) but it just doesn't flow like it was put together by someone who really knows what they are talking about. You don't mention anything in there about Overture being a bidded SE or the directories having pay for review schemes and that a sure way into Inktomi is to use a service like Position Technologies to pay to be indexed. Are you actually offering a SEO service or just a basic intro for people to pick up basic tips? I have also seen all those meta tags you have!!!
I don't mean to be harsh but now I come to think about it I am rather confused what this site is???

Hmmm....I no like...
I agree with Megan about the cheesy retro effect...It looks pretty basic and unprofeesional with no clear message of what you are trying to get across...
I like Busy am getting alot of JavaScript errors on IE 5.5 and the Contact nme page seems more dedicated to referralls for other sites...
I can't realy ascertain what the purpose of your site is, I'm sorry if I've missed the point but if I have then so will the majority of your visitors...

Welcome to the TWF, feel free to critique other sites as it helps everyone get different people ideas etc.
I think you need to reword your text when you say your an expert in javascript, html etc
in IE5 you have a javascript error, the bottom "contact us" button is overlapping the text
looking at your source code, are you sure you have a long enough title and enough meta tags?
your style sheet has to many ';' you have a style command outside the style tags as well as one comment tag outside.
couldnt decide which image to use?
enough of that, in Netscape 4.7, the page ends after "examples of flash sites" the rest just isnt there, the text graphics on the right (the expertise ones) are under the left images so cant read the first half of any of the words, i dont remember seeing a javascript redirect but in Netscae you have a BIG animated globe above the url title, none in IE. and the blink tag went out years ago, i think you should take a look at webpagesthatsuck.com for some ideas of what not to do.
on the up side I do like the colors, done correctly could look very good

Flashback to 1997! Complete with animated horizontal rules, cheesy gold effect graphics, textured backgrounds (with stars!) and everyone's favourite, the javascript alert box! On mouseover no less, how retro. Is that an animated globe I see??
Were you purposely going for a retro look? Eeek.... ummm... not a very good decision right now IMHO. Maybe eventually the retro look will come back "in", as it does in the fashion world all the time, but online we're just not ready for that yet. Better to go for a more modern look.
Welcome to TWF by the way! Thanks for stopping by I hope you'll stick around and review some other sites while you're here.
