Two designs - which one is worth developing?
New site: presently fooling with two different looks and undecided which to develop further.
Would you mind checking each out and giving constructive opinion?

I liked option A better. However I liked the banner of option B. (The web inside the web looks nice.)
You might want to make sure that the color of your backgrounds in your graphics match better.

Oops on the image background colours. I only noticed that myself after I turned on the lights at home
Should be an easy fix for tomorrow

Option A is definitely better. There's a white line under "web design" that looks a bit out of place. Plus the half a dot logo is cut off at the bottom so it doesn't form a full circle. The rollovers are cut in 3/4 also, that looks kind of strange but I suppose it is because your name is "half a dot". Anyway, you definitely need to make the images transparent to match the background color, as mentioned previously. Good luck

Brian - the top left corner of the screen looks like this to me (IE5 at 1024 res).

I understand the comment about transparency on the images so they blend perfectly with the background ... but the other comments about 'the half a dot logo is cut off at the bottom so it doesn't form a full circle, and the rollovers are cut in 3/4 also, that looks kind of strange' are something I don't quite understand. Do I see something that's different from what other visitors see?
I did check the page using NS and IE and they look identical.

Yup the first one is definitely better for this purpose. It loaded kind of slow for me but it might be just a temporary network glitch here or something.
Is the red in the logo the same as the red in the mouseover buttons? It doesn't look like it to me but it could be just the surrounding colours making it appear different.
Change that aqua on the mouseovers!! Red and aqua do not match. Maybe yellow, or a medium blue.
I also think you should improve your logo a little bit. I'm not too good with logos so I don't have any specific ideas there. I think the logo and the web design title should have something in common with each other - just need to integrate those two a little with the rest of the site.
Good job so far!
