I volunteered to help with the website design and development of www.tristatebird.org It is my first real website. I helped with the basics of the site. There was a more experienced person handling the java. Any comments welcomed.

You may want to read the posting policy for site reviews as you need to review at least three other members sites first before requesting a review...

OOPS I missed that in glancing through the posting policy. Will do.

Your friend the java guy has some changes to make with the drop down menus. Some text extends out past the border of the drop down. :\

You can see the header fading as blocks of color, instead of a nice gradient. Try using the jpg format instead of a gif for it (at least the fade)

Over all looks good on Netscape 7.1.

As one who gets a little nervous about giving my credit card number online, I would never donate to your bird fund because it doesn't say anywhere that it is a secure line or checkout (whatever it's called, sorry). Also, when I first got on your site it was all distorted and the page was kind of jumping around a bit putting itself together. Sorry, I don't know the correct terminalogy.

not bad actually!

looks good and loads fast.

the drop down navigation is ok but doesn't look themed with the top menu bar - maybe combine the grey/orange in some way.

don't load pages or images in new windows - it's just annoying

possibly too many different font colours all over the place - looks a bit unprofessional

but keep at it - very good start
