Toeng.com Community Forum - needs review :)
Hi all,
I know about the "suggested" rule that I need to review at least 3 other sites before I let people critic my site and trust me, I did that already
So, I just designed a new forum for Toeng.com, the url for the new forum is http://forum.toeng.com and I was just wondering if I can have both advice and critic for the new forum. The design is actually simple, but I was just wondering if I have defined and classified the topics well enough. And if any of you willing to help out a bit with regular posts, I will be very very gracias
So, I'm waiting for your comment ... and please be careful with my fragile heart ... lol

I like it, but I would place the banner somewhere else and I would make the forumlogo1.jpg into a little bit smaller.
Even on a 19" I have to scroll down to see the forum...
Overall: ok

I agree with Jack about the logo & banner (perhaps put it at the bottom) but I'm not sure about the colours. Very grey and maybe a wee bit cold feeling. I'd add some colour as it's a forum on arty things.

I think you've got some really good ideas and concepts but they just need a little fine-tuning. First of all, I would tend to agree with the previous reviews regarding the forum layout. Make the logo smaller (vertically), move/remove the banner or center it and get rid of the logoleft.jpg, clean up the "new posts" and "no new posts" icons (they have some fuzz around the sides), and darken the noicon.gif so the color matches the other blue. Besides that it looks really good.
Good luck!

I just checked it out, looks cool. Had a teeny bit of trouble registering but that's just me, lol. Oooh, I see, I just recieved my activation thingy.
As for the image thing, I don't know if it's just cause it's fresh in my mind that I read others say it, but the post icon's still looked a little blurry.
I'm about to post now, overall, great layout/colour scheme.

I like it.
Also checked out TOeng.com itself and love the selection and such, when I get my new layout I'll probably add this site to the Featured Resources section. If I remember that is, but I have the memory of a goldfish.
But yeah, I liked it.
