Thermal Inspections needs some advice
Im trying to design my mates new site however drupal is hard to modify. Any tips on what i can do to make it nice and more appealing would be good.

Right now it looks a bit blank since theres too much whitespace. At first look, it looks like a landing page for a site that isn't there yet...
The advantage however since you're using a cms and the layout looks pretty standard, you can modify and theme it as much as you can. A little BG adjustment, font colors and sizes adjustment, a little splash here and there and this site will look fantastic... This layout has potential in the right designers hands...
I like that everything I need to know about the company is readily accessible on the links, I hate that you chose flash for that thermal effect image, It would have been better if it was static or shows and explains a demo type home page...
That's my .2 for now...

Thanks demonhale, well maybe that is one aspect that is not right - the banner. Unfortunately, drupal is hard to modify to the point of actually redesigning the main core. However, you are right but its knowing where to start and making it look good but keeping the simplicity.

Hmm, I must admit that I feel there is too much whitespace in this site. However, it does leave us to concentrate on what really matters, and that is the content. The main image on the site seems to have a 'heat seeking' effect that I'm not really into.
Besides that, I'd say your site looks good, because your informaiton is conveyed well.
