Suggestions on layout of C&C Wireless
Hey guys,
As some of you might know, i am working on a wireless accessory site. I would appreciate any feedback you might have on what i have done so far. I have done only the basic layout. The right side is not done yet. I am just asking for any opinions about the layout and if you think the layout is good....I really appreciate it. Also i am looking for new ideas so if you have any let me know. Thanks

Not bad. I really like the logo a lot. It looks great and really suits the industry.
The red text on blue backgrounds for the boxes on the right side catches my attention right away- that red is way too bright and it doesn't stand out enough against the blue. That should probably be white or yellow. Actually, I think you should replace all that bright red with something else. It's to glaring and stands out too much against the blue and white.
The headings on the navigation menu shouldn't be indented like that - if anything the text links should be indented. It should also be moved up closer to the blue bar - it looks strange because there is more space above it than there is below it.
A hover effect would be nice - the page is a little too static right now. Same with the "Account Info, Order Status..." links along the top.
So, just a few nit-picky things.

I was thinking of having rollover's on the bottom text from like white to red. Do you think i should have rollovers on the links on the left too or just leave them how they are? Also what should i do to spice up that navigation menu on the right? Any ideas? Thanks

We’ve spoken about this before, and I stick with my suggestion to “use more of your screen real-estate”. There are reasons to use centered table sites (mainly compatibility), however with a site such as yours it limits you content display way too much. Once you get 20 products on one page you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I’d also split up the side navigation, main content, and right side columns. Thin lines work nicely for this.
Otherwise I think you’ve got a great foundation to build off of. Talk to you later!

I don't think i will have up to 20 proudcts per page though. I think probably just a couple at the most. The way i am going to break down my pages is that when you pick your phone and your accessory, that particular accessory wil lshow up. So i am figuring probably just one product per page. I am not sure yet. About the thin line, what do you mean by that? I am sorry i dont understand. Thanks Adam ill talk to you soon!

Great start!
With the table on the right - give the text some padding. It is too close to the edge of the table.
The logo looks fantastic, but the text graphics (browse products and browse services) look really fuzzy.
I feel like the site doesn't feel all that cohesive. I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just the graphic text I mentioned before. I also think you should try to use some more of that yellow in your logo. I just think that is really great.
I also agree that those two graphic text things should not be indented, but the text below them should.
Keep up the good work!
Brooke
