Subdomain critique - consulting.shrum.net
After all that work on shrum.net, I decided that the look was too dark and metalic for a series of pages that was trying to get work.
I've made a new site ident for my consulting subdomain. Not to many pages hee but that's the beauty of it.
Check it out at: http://consulting.shrum.net ( I'm using this same ident for the client subdomain as well: http://clients.shrum.net )
For those that missed the post about my other site critique, you can check out the other subdomains ident page at http://www.shrum.net
TIA

wow, thats a radical change. I'm not sure if they really flow together tho, one page is dark as dark can be, and the next blindingly white. I don't know if i like the design of this page either (the consulting page) and I think its partly because of the XP Icons. There is really nothing appealing about these pages; starting with the banner - very weak - and then using a different texture on the footer bar.
What I'm basically saying is that there isn't any of what I like to call Web Feng Shui (hehehe).
I know that you want to make money off of this service (I've seen your prices) and for anyone to take you seriously, you need to re-think your design. Remember, people are very visually driven, so go for the eyecandy design. HOWEVER!!! DO NOT FORGET THAT CONTENT IS ALSO VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY IMPORTANT so just tell your audience exactly what you would want to hear if you were a prospective client.
GOOD LUCK!
