so here I am.
Can you advise me on navigation, load times and overall design please. All comments are welcome as I still feel it lacks something.
Thanks in advance, sticky.

You have an extra color in your body tag at the very end.
<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0"
background="images/thinbarbkg.gif" link="#000000" vlink="#FF0000" "#000000">
I am not particularly fond of the blue color that you have used but that is a matter of taste. It doesn't really look bad I just wouldn't have used it. Logo is cute. Everything is organized well. I'll be checking out your stuff later to see if you have anything that I need.
If I find anything while poking around I will post it.
Nice site!!

Very computer generated looking, looks good
The pages dont display in netscape4.7 to well, on the index, the "free content", "web template" .... boxs are messed up, looks almost like your using style sheets but looking at your code I se your not, but did notice a few "extras", extras >'s etc,
try run your site through a validator and see what it picks up, could be these extras that are messing it up in netscape.
if you want to use the arrows, use < for <, and > for >
heres one table cell:
<?php
<TD width=\"410\" valign=\"middle\" height=\"119\">
<FONT face=\"Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\" size=\"2\"><B>
<FONT color=\"#FF0000\">Come and get it! Hot free content!<BR>
</FONT></B><FONT color=\"#666666\">Browse</FONT>
<FONT color=\"#666666\">our directory for hot free content, there are 26<BR>
categories from jokes to news with over 800 free<BR>
content providers. Find the free content for your site
<A href=\"http://www.stickysauce.com/dcd/\">now>></A>
</FONT></FONT></TD>
?>
Alot of the font tags in there could be made into one or two instead of many.
weird thing is you actually have a validator "site tune up" on your site

Haven't we reviewed this before? I thought we had... I remember commenting on the colours. That's combination of bright red and pale blue tends to clash IMO. It is a little hard on the eyes but it certainly is unique.
Otherwise it looks great. Seems like you have some good resources there. Definitely a place I'll return to when I need to find something.

I think the idea was to put it here for a review of the forum part, as many thought there were too many categories on yours.
For the site as a whole I generally like it but have to agree about the red/blue combination! I like the little devil on the index page - he's just like my tattoo

Nice, I kinda like the blue and red thing, makes the menus stick out.

I use IE5 and 800x600 res.
Yes the colors are a bit different. But it's ok I think.
Annoying:
The small arrows on the home page. Why are they there?
The HOT bars. Why?
Doorway pages, not Door way pages.
Problem:
Your left nav bar, changes on different pages. I don't like that. Confusing.
Otherwise:
Nice site. Good content.

Hmmm I like a lot!!
Thoughts:
The left nav I would of had the underline on the link appearing on mouse over rather than the other way round...
Navigation is very simple and works well...very easy to find what you want...
The overall look is great..very clean and crisp...
I've bookmarked this one....

I think the site is excellent. The colors are appealing, but I do that you should make the menus match exactly on all pages of your site. I would also try to use the same navigation on the forums as you use on the rest of the site (I have to do that with my site, too ) Although I really haven't had the chance to look through your content thoroughly, it seems that you have a lot of good content.

I think the color combo is a bit different, but it appears to work okay a far as I can see.
In IE5 site loads quickly and looks great - very well organized.
One thing I noticed is in your table featuring books (Perl, Java etc.) the text is right against the table border. A little cell spacing should take care of that.
It appears to have good content and I have bookmarked it for future reference.

Well, I asked for a review and I got one. Cheers guys. I have tried to answer all your points below.
disaster-master - Thanks for pointing that out, I will be rectifying it soon.
Busy - Would a 25x25 transparent giff sort that out?
Megan - Megan I appoligise, you are right I have posted this site before, I have been on that many forums I dont know where I have posted my site. Anyway I shant make that mistake again as webmaster-forums is in my favourites.
The Webmistress - Stupid me, yes you are right webmistress I should have posted the forums section up for a review, anyway I have trimmed the categories. You said you had a tattoo - You little devil, can we have a look
z28cam - Thanks for the nice comments.
ZoomPosters.com - You were right about the little arrorws and hotbars, I have removed them.
flipper - Again thanks for the nice comments.
giambona - Again thanks for the nice comments, I have tried to include the sorrounding navigation arround the forums and it didnt look right it was too cramped, maybe a combo box or dropdown box would work?
dmwhipp - Again thanks for the nice comments (phew I seem to have had a lot), I will try to increase the cell space a little so the text aint right up against the collum.
I am striving to make Stickysauce the number 1 webmasters resource on the web so I appreciate all comments both nice and criticsm.
I have recently added a new feature to Stickysauce called "Lets Barter" I dont know if it would interest any of you guys but basically its a section of my site where webmasters/site owners can post an add selling their site/domain. You can also post a services exchange, say you are looking for graphic designers to help you with your logos etc, that sort of thing. You can post a plea for funding or seek advertisers. Any way have a look and tell me how I can improve it. Heres the link http://www.stickysauce.com/cgi-local/suite/classifieds/classifieds.cgi
Thanks for reviewing my site all and if anyone else would like to review it then all comments are welcom.
Cheers, Sticky.

ummm, depends, what we talking about
You mentioned you want to be the biggest and best ... I think what your doing can be done but think you are jumping in to fast, which could result in disappointment.
Rome wasnt built in a day, you need to build up a bit, maybe specialise in a few topics or areas first while the site is getting known, then add more.
If you go all out now what are you going to offer your visitors later? once they read every page then what?
maybe excell at a few topics instead of just being ok in a lot
good luck
