Starting New Page - Website Tutorial
Although I LOVE the rollover effect. I didn't use it for two reasons. First and most importantly, I try to design for all browers, and not just for those of us who keep up with the latest upgrades. My site stats show quite a few 3X browsers. Plus this will be a very simple tutorual for the 'non nerd'. I know people who want a page but just don't catch onto the software as quickly or don't really have the time to just dive in a play until they learn! So for that reason too I want pretty simple stuff. I do belive though that I have achieved my goal of being able to be versatile. I content pages whill be awhile in comiong though cause it'll be mostly plain text, with some screen shots thrown in and I great typist I'm not! (As you can see by any of my posts LOL) BBS' should have spell check LOL! Yeah I may have to tweak that logo I did blur black text then placed colored on top and used gamma correction and all maybe need to sharpen it a bit. this is just the first draft anyway!

I took this page down because I found a tutorial that was very similar to what I had in mind, so I'm not going to put the time into it, and save space on my server

The first thing I noticed was that your main links did not make use of rollover's. It seems to be that they cry out for that effect.

Hey Roo,
I really like your design/layout so far. The blue bars in your banner look blurry, I'm not sure if that was your desired effect.
keep up the great effort
take care

Hey Roo,
Hang in there, JP posted an entry awhile back in the discussion forum about a new "tool" it's a cool spell checker that you can use in entry boxes like these, I have it but haven't figured it out quite yet
take care,
