Hello everyone. We haven't had a site review in a while so we are curious to know what others think. We try to keep our sites user friendly and would like to make sure they are up to standards.

What is your initial reaction, load time, is it easy to navigate, anything a user would find confusing, etc.

I'm not sure what the rule is on how many sites can be reviewed, I have quite a few, but please review http://www.foundhost.com

Thanks in advance, and if I can return the favor just let me know.

first up your popunder reminded me to turn popup blocker back on, thanks, 7 cookies, anymore?

I'm not to keen on your colour choice, red, yellow and white don't flow very well together, also all those animated advertising gifs makes it hard to focus on what your site is about, first thing that comes to mind is a link farm.
You might also need to make your body default color white unless your meant to have grey outer background colour.

You have a lot of links in the main section but think you need to define them, using bold (black) text for headings and links are very confusing to people, either change the colours or underline them (no underline on hover is fine).
Your target crowd is probably people new or newish to the web so you should make it as easy as possible for them.

In your about you page, you say you want to be number one ... but with all those afilate links I think youd be putting people off rather than attracting them, to be honest I wouldn't send anyone to find hosting here. but hey, if it works for you, go for it.
for me, all the animated gifs ruin it for you. just my 2c

I totally agree with Busy on this one! I would just shut the site down and find another one unfortunately as the site is just far too busy and not even your own logo stands out from all the flashing, irritating stuff. The site doesn't look very professional and you really do just get the impression that it is a page full of ads and not a reputable site that will help me.

I'm also not a fan of the colours and with all the banners it just looks like a technicolour nightmare. I know you can't control the colours in the banners but when so many of them clash with your own colour scheme you really need to rethink things.

First impression: Did I hit one of those sites that is a mispelling of a popular domain name? Especially with the opening of new window. It says to me, "click on something so I can get an affiliate penny", to which I normally immediately close the window.

What would I find confusing? Trying to figure out, before deciding to leave the site, what is content and what is advertising.

PS. On your top menu, for me, the About Us didn't have a link, Advertise took me to About Us, Privacy took me to Advertise.

The colors dont look so nice together....and whats that big red block
on the top of your page? Many of those annoying gifs don't even work
and your links are messed up.

I actually enjoyed the color scheme. The site looks very well put together for a web host site. You might have a little too many moving advertisments however. They tend to ruin the experience.

I agree that there are a few too many ads here. You've done a good job of organizing them on the page, but they do tend to be a bit overwhelming (even with animated gif's turned off!). What you could do is take out anything that's not profitable or rearrange some so they're further towards the right and bottom side of the page. That way they're not in the user's way so much.

One of the biggest problems I see here is that your links are styled in the same way as plain text. So they don't stand out at all and it's hard to know what to click on. I also find that there's a whole lot of text on the front page. You could probably remove some of the explanatory stuff and let the headings speak for themselves, especially on the left sidebar.

Overall you've got a good start here but I think it could use some editing. Take out anything that's not necessary. If you keep thing simple the user will have a clearer path to the content. There won't be so much distracting them and getting in the way.

I really, really, really, really, really hate POP-UPS, especially those that get in the way of the main web site and then take forever to load.

There is entirely to much activity going on with the site. Take off about 90% of the animation banners you got going on there.

my .02 cents worth though
