I've created this link site for webmasters and online entrepreneurs.

I want to make my website the home page for webmasters. Is it good enough for that and if not what could I add to make it suitable for a home page?

The site is...

http://www.gettingtraffic.com

Thanks,

Jon

I am not crazy about the bright colors, it makes it hard to read. Also, what is the advantage of coming to your site? You have no content, your site is not much more than a links page. It may be a nice collection of links but there is nothing there that would encourage me to stick around or ever come back. Webmaster Sites are not easy and you have a ton of competition, you need good content. Maybe you could do a review of all of those links to get you started.

Just my opinion

I like the bright colors, maybe some real content, and those reviews would be nice too.
How about a nice logo, that would be nice.

I agree with Strider (and BTW, Welcome to TWF Strider! I notice that this was your first post!). There are tons and tons of webmaster sites out there. You have got a lot of competition, and many of those sites are very, very well established. Also remember that your target audience is a group of very web savvy people - it's not going to be easy to catch and keep our attention.

Since your URL is "gettingtraffic.com", I think you should start by concentrating on promotion resources - try to be the best resource out there for website promotion. Once you've got a good hold on that topic, you can expand into other areas of webmastering. You should have more detailed descriptions of your links - the ones you have aren't that informative. It would also be good to ahve some of your own content - articles, polls, forums etc.

As for the colours, they look kind of washed out to me - not enough contrast (add a dark blue or another darker colour that contrasts well yellow). The lime green and neon yellow are really hard on the eyes too. I agree with grandmaster that a good logo would help as well.
