I am close to having my new site "finished" and is about to start promoting it. But I`m sure there are room for some improvements first: http://search-engine-secrets.net/

Any help/suggestions for improvement of site design, content, typos, or anything else you would like to comment on would be very helpful.

Thanks i advance, I`m looking forward to your suggestions.

Hey, Ronny - welcome to TWF! I'm glad you've decided to join us, and I'm sure you'll have lots of great advice to give in our Search Engine Challenges forum Smiling

About your site, the first thing that caught my eye was the colours. That red you've got is just not good! It's too bright and it clashes with the green. I would change it to maybe a darker shade of green - that would look good.

I'm using NS 6 here and I'm thinking I might be seeing something wrong here - the menu is appearing way down on the right side. Or maybe it's supposed to be that way? It should be higher up. I do like how you've organized your navigation options though - really nice and straighforward. Kinda neat how it tapers like that.

Firstly I don't particularly like the colours. Those particular shades don't work well together. The red part at the top looks like there is something missing where it splits to the two levels.

There is a lot of white space between the top logo and the actual content, I'd try & get rid of some of it. On my 19" screen there is a large gap between the content & navigation.

I would have a "return to top of page" link at the bottom as it can get annoying having to scroll back up.

How about a list of the spiders names, you touch on it briefly but I think people would find it usefull rather than hunting it out through your links page.

You don't mention cloaking???

Good all round basic site Smiling

Thank you all for your suggestions. You have been very helpful. I`m working on a modified site design based on the feedback from this and some other webmaster forums. Seems like there is much room for improvement Smiling

More content and in depth info articles will be added with time, including a spider list and info about cloaking.

The English grammar is causing problems though. English is not my first language (I`m from Norway), so will probably need some help on this. Perhaps someone would be willing to proof-read my site in exchange for free banner advertising on the site?
