The green links don't go with the rest. maybe try a more bluish color.

yeah i know what you mean with the blue but i changed it from blue this am cause everyone was telling me it was to hard to read and making them go blind. thanks for the idea but there inst a blue that stands out on the background and i think ive benn though most colors and green turned out the best.

Welcome to TWF monkey man! Are you a fan of The Specials by any chance? I like that song. We'd appreciate it if you could help us out and review a couple of other sites here.

Something's wrong with your code here - it's not showing up right in Opera 6. I see the logo and header at the top along the left side, then a banner ad below, then the content part on the right below that. Check your table structure there. Works fine in mozilla though... weird. Your table borders are showing in both of them.

Overall the design seems to be rather incoherent. The different parts just don't seem to fit together. YOu've got that nice www graphic in the left corner, but that doesn't seem to be the site logo since it doesn't include the title. Include the "Impression Xchange" text in that. The graphic also has a very soft-edged look that doesn't contrast well with the blocky style you've used for the navigation and content area.

I definitely agreee that the green needs to be changed. The red hover colour is even worse.

im not sure what color to go for instead of green ive tried almost every shande of blue and the blue is just to hard to read. as for the logo in the top right thats a temporary thing while i wait for one of my friends to design me a new one.

Hey there monkeyman. Try the following hex codes:

#66CCFF - light blue
#99FFFF - lighter blue
#CCCCFF - light purple

I think I would go with a dark blue background instead of the grid pattern. The green text and purple actually look good together in my opinion but the red rollover kills it. Orange maybe or a light purple color(the same color as the line that is under the www thing in the top left corner)???

The text in the body part would be more readable if it were white.

The sections that you have in the little tables would look better to me if you just did paragraphs and did the paragraph header in bold.

Can't you move that joke banner to the bottom? It takes away from that nice looking graphic that you have on the top left.

well im glad someone likes the green (lol)i tried the light blue and it looked ok but was a pain to look at as if it wasnt clear enough.
i see what you mean about the white instead of the grey think i might change that....
i like the grid background and it doesnt look the same with a dark blue background.
thanks

How about dark purple for the links and a dark red for mouse over ? or even dark and light grey ?

the page has a problem in Netscape 4.7, the www globe thing isnt aligned, the right section of it has a gap between it. I wouldnt of known it said www unles Megan picked it up.
In IE the links have a nice grey box around them, in Netscape it has a big ugly table around them, you can get the same effect (as IE) using 2 tables and playing around with background colors and cellpadding or spacing, forgot which lol
same as your topic boxs, but you could get away with these in Net 4.7 as they kinda look grey (blue in IE)

the banner area displays in IE, but banner is a red x, in Netscape there is nothing, just a blank space.

the copyright bit doesnt show in Netscape either.

I'd add a bit of spacing in your topic tables, the text is hard against the edges.

Hmmm, I was all set to give you a couple of bananas for your efforts but I think I will wait a bit.

I would change the green in the navbar. It is too green, too big and too underlined. The color doesn't match the site well in my opinion. I also think that the text-underline doesn't go well with the boxes that you have, too many lines. I would probably get rid of the bordercolor which causes cross-browser problems, make the background of your navs the dark blue, the text white and smaller and non-underlined.

You also need some Metatags for search engines on your site.

Opera 5.12 also has problems with the boxes in the nav.

I would say also that there is a Frontpageness to the site with all the MS bordercolor tags and align="middle", which should be align="center" (valign="middle").

Not a bad globe on your site but do you realize how many thousands of times that has been done. You also need to have alt tags.

Some inconsistencies in font colour throughout the site - gray here, black there, some white?

Your "Terms" page needs some breathing space on the right - text too close to the edge

I hate email links built into the site navigation. "Add to Favourites" is even more annoying and IE-specific. I would separate these two "functions" from the site navigation.

I dislike the green link/header colour also. You should avoid underlining your titles - especially when they are the same colour as your links!

I agree with Mairving that the navigation would look better in dark blue boxes with non-underlined white text links and why not create a form for people to complete (then you tend to get more info from them) instead of just a mailto. The rest of the text would look better white as well, with the headings in perhaps dark blue and not underlined or they look like links.

I did a code clean up in Dreamweaver and it got rid of 2 empty tags and 5 redundant tags but there seems to be some bad coding left, I'd have to look at it closer. What did you use to build the site?

You say you are having a new logo done? I would move any banners to the bottom as I think they will distract from your logo otherwise.

Can you now help us out by giving your thoughts and review some of the other sites posted in this forum please.

One more teeny tiny suggestion. Reduce the font size on the links, or de-bold them. They are too much, y'know what I mean?
