Great job! Good colors, good layout. Everything seems clean. However, the navigation seems separated. All the navigation links ought to appear next to each other, and they should look the same. A user might get confused about which links lead elsewhere, and some might not even find the little menu up above. Also, the "get ringtones" and "get mobile games" images on the right are don't seem like they're part of your site; as if they were ads from a third party website.

Other than that, great job, hope you succeed, and I like the logo! Sticking out tongue

Looks great! You might want to make the menu collapsible (sp) so its easier for the visitors to use.

Very nice site. A little bit slow on dial up, but no real problem. Good colors. Nice design. I like the logo too Smiling

I like that site - normally people have atendancy to overcrowd the web page - but it is nicely layed out - nice colour scheme - all seems to fit well.

Well done!!

great site, nice color scheme and well organized. Couple things though:
1) For aesthetic purposes, there is a tiny white space on the right side of your border which, if I'm not mistaken, should be filled like it is on the left side.
2) Same border issue on the UNINEWS page, but if you notice, the right border is now thicker than the left border.
3) There is a problem with the nav menu at the top. If you click on FORUMS the button disappears..never to return again 0_0!!
4) "Five percent of profits will be donated to charity" ... wow...this is definitely what may set you aside from the rest. Good man!
5) there are lots of these: alt="" in your coding. If you're not gonna use them, you may as well just delete these cause they just take up unnecessary room.

That's pretty much it. I love the site! Keep up the good work!

tenchi - thanks for your comments Wink

1) I am aware of the border issue and am looking of ways to sort it out.
2) As above
3) I will look into this....wasnt aware of it.
4) Well i hope it does set the site out from the rest - time will tell!
5) The alt code was put in place to make it W3 compatible.

Thanks for your review - it has been v.helpful Laughing out loud

Liking the site alot. cool graphic, nice content
just taken by your point (5) above - what the point of going to the trouble of putting alt tags and then not filling them in??
very professional site other than that!

This looks really good. You've created a neat graphic style with the header area and the cartoon guy is a nice touch. There are a few minor things that I think should be sorted out:

  1. I think a little refinement could be done to the header area. There seems to be a lot going on there so it might be a good idea to move that navigation off of there. I also think that the logo and the guitar guy could be tied together better. Either closer together or make the music notes in the background a little stronger and more noticeable.
  2. A lot of your navigation items should really have rollovers of some sort.
  3. You could probably do a lot of your graphic text as plain text with a little help from CSS. That would cut down your loading times and allow you to do more rollovers
  4. On the left side menu, it looks odd to have that >> next to the header and then the items below shifting back to the left. I think all that text should line up together. Either indent the list items to line up with the header or remove the >>
  5. The lower half of the layout seems a little messy. Can you cusotmize those google ads at all? It would be nice if they were the same width as the graphic boxes above it. Those three sponsor logos should also line up somehow. Next, do something with that Uniwin box. Change that bright red to something else, it doesn't fit with the colour scheme very well. Use orange like you did on the right side graphic boxes. Actually, there are some inconsistencies here in terms of colour since the "support" box at the top is red and yet orange has been used elsewhere as an accent. That should maybe be sorted out. Back to the Uniwin box, put that text back to the default alignment. Centering looks tacky.

Okay, enough being picky Smiling Good site! Makes me want to get a cell phone so I can use some of those ringtones Smiling

Looks good...you have integrated the forum very nicely.

The only critique I have, is that the home page looks a bit busy. But, not any busier that some other big name sites. As a general rule, I prefer clean, uncluttered designs.

Cheers,
Erica

I like the design. Very clean and I found it easy to navigate. I like pages that appear in a snap and yours did just that. Good luck with the site.
