Review Request for www.parrotize.co.uk
Hi
I would appreciate you taking a look at my website parrotize.co.uk and recommending any changes to help boost my ranking, especially on google. my keywords are "bird cages", "parrot cages" and "parrot toys", but ranking is very low or no existent on some searches.
Can anyone please help me improve my site for better rankings.

Loose the google ads. It's pointless advertising other companies on your own website. Also, move the advert from the top of the page to where the googleads are, this way people will read the whole page before finding a link to click to go somewhere else.
Try adding more content... Google loves lots of text to read!

You've done an okay job with your layout here. You've got a navbar and a content area and a consistent look for every page. What you really need is a good logo that appears on every page. If you're really serious about this you'll get a professional do that for you. You might be able to do something passable yourself but professional designers have a lot of in-depth knowledge about branding that will be really beneficial. Putting that into a nice header design would go a long way to improve your site design.
Make sure your page titles are filled in on every page. I'm currently on a page with no title (Parrot / Bird Cages). Titles are also very important for the search engines.
The shopping section is well layed out and the cart works well. It would be nice if the checkout was more integrated into the rest of the site. I may, for example, decide that before I finalize my order I should check and see if you have any accessories I'd like to order.
Overall not a bad job. A little refinement is needed in terms of graphic design. Check out books by Robin Williams - her "... for non-Designers" series is really good.

I don`t know why, but the site doesn`t have a very professional look! Try to bring the menu items closer...and loose the vertical line

Hi Alan,
I am new here also. However, when I try to visit you site, it seem that it take some time to load... or is it because of my PC is slow : )
I think if you can make it faster. it may help the visitor from slower PC like mine...
Best regards,
Tanin

Hi, I agree with what the others have said, your title tag could do with some work, remove the adverts and concentrate on more content.
Overall the website looks good, well done.
Some research on keyword phrases may help also instead of just words.
