Welcome to TWF and thanks for helping out by reviewing some of the others sites here Smiling

Firstly I get a small horizontal scrollbar (not mentioning the colour!) which shouldn't be there. Secondly I'm not keen on the colours, but that's just my dislike of black backgrounds and the blue looks too neon on top of it.

You have lots of content (don't centre text) but IMO that first page is too long, maybe move the current events to its own page. You have a lot going on but to me the layout looks a bit unfinished.

It's a pretty good design (sorry WebMistress, I still like black backgrounds Smiling Although the blue is a bit wishy-washy compared with what you're doing with it - it doesn't quite have the "KAPOW" factor.

Your host is pretty damn slow though and the page took about 5 minutes to load on a T3.

I think that the pale blue and orange make a great contrast against the dark background. It's very striking, although I"m noticing that some of the boxes have dark grey backgrounds, while the page has a black background. Best to keep that the same.

Otherwise I'm not too keen on the nuke-ish layout. There are too many boxes around boxes and it seems too cluttered overall. There's also too much scrolling on here and the green text is impossible to read against the black. What's with that "home" button in the upper right corner? It's completely out of keeping with the rest of the desgin so I really have to wonder why it's there. Also lose the horiztonal rules on some of the other pages, and try to shorten up the pages some (too much blank space around). Text is too small on the front page too - it's really difficult to read that.

I think that the logo and colours you've got there are good, but it's really calling for a much cleaner design. Get rid of all the extra boxes and lines around, do a bigger (possibly graphic) navigation, dump the boxy headers, and general strip the design of all unnecessary elements.

I seem to like all the sites I'm reviewing lately, but hey. Looks really good. I love the header. I don't know why, but I like the lense flare (light source in the top left corner. Cool fonts and stuff, and even the touch of the thin blue likes in the bottom right corner of that top graphic. I also like how everything is layed out but as mentioned earlier, there's too much length to the front page.

I don't know if anybody would agree with me on this but the + icons in the navigation menu bother me becasue I clicked on the + and expected the menu to dynamically expand. Same goes for the + signs in the section headers. I just expect a + to mean that it will expand if clicked. It's really not much but it's disappointing when you expect a certain action and that doesn't happen.

Looking good however, I think you should spend a little more time on the colors. But maybe thats just me...

I get a JS error:

line:80
char:1

I don't think that bold on hover is a good idea for the nav :S

well, most of the things i notice that i would change have already been mentioned, like the green text being hard to read, and the little plus signs in front of your navigation text. also i agree that the first page is definately too long and i think you should go with the idea of making the current events be it's own page. i find the light blue and orange easy on the eyes but i think the white text on black backgrond is hard to read also.

other than those few things, i think it's got a lot of potential.

hey there, gotta say looks great, clean cut, great content and obviously you know where your gonna go from here. Simple and easy on the eyes, what are your ideas about linking with other gaming sites?
