darn. i just made a big reply and it didn't post. Anyway, I think you should try to make your site database driven. It doesn't appear that it is right now. If it used a database, you wouldn't have to manually update new ads. A person could submit the form and it would be added to the site in a snap. It might take a while to do it but it's a great learning experience and essential for content sites.

Do you know where could I find tutorials on how to do this?
It would be completely new for me, so I need something pretty basic that gives step by step instructions.
Thanks,
Deborah

Site looks nice and consistent. I think you have presented the material well. Smiling

Personal preference here but I don't like the black rollover. Not sure what color to suggest but the black just doesn't seem lively enough.

Can't help you with the database stuff. I am totally ignorant when it comes to that but I am sure someone can.

Your header on the stores.html page should probably be maroon like on the other pages.

I don't mind the black rollovers but what I do have a problem with is the bevelled effects. I guess that could be a personal preference as well, but it looks kind of dated to me.

The logo could stand to be made more interesting. I think that the motorcycle image there is definitely too small in comparison to the text. What you could do is have a close-up of one part of it. Hmmm... just thinking aloud here... Something from a different angle would really spice things up a lot - if you've seen Hemera Photo Objects I'm thinking of the kind of funny angles they use a lot in there. You might have to rearrange the rest of the layout a little bit to make this work though.... It might be neat to have the bike sort of hanging over the grey part but that might not work very well with the bevel... just some ideas!

Overall this looks very nice but I just feel that more could be done to develop the ideas you've used in the design. I do really like the colour scheme and the overall layout and styling is well done.

I like the clean approach, but think maybe it needs a extra color, maybe a yellow or something, even the mouse overs yellow (dark yellow)

If you want to run your site off a database have a look in the server side section of these forums, heaps of infomation in there, youd be looking at something like php and mysql.
things like tell a friend, mailing list, ad form etc could all be run via php/mysql

you may want to add what currency the advert fee is (I'm guessing US) also if there is any limits or overseas traders allowed ...
