REVIEW REQUEST: www.CanaDate.com
Hello,
I'd greatly appreciate reviews on my website which launched last night: www.CanaDate.com
Be as picky as you wanna be!
If you're Canadian and over 18, you can register if you'd like..using promo code 343226 will give you a 3 month membership for free...all I ask is that you use and test the features. If you encounter errors, please email [email protected] with as much detail on the error(s) as possible, your windows version would help too
I look forward to some indepth reviews
Cheers,
Canadian.

I like the layout and colour scheme but maybe a little to grey/purple, maybe colour the leaf under the 'first month free'
On the sign up page, it says 'Next Step (2 of 3)' isnt that step 1? also you should make the next step link stand out more, the lil cupid was hard to find.
You also might want to state who and from where people can sign up from, ie: could someone from NZ sign up? if so how would the postal thing work as we don't have/use them, well we do but is only 2 digits - should be 4 but we only use 2
would be interesting meeting an 120 year old man or woman

I don't like that colour either. It looks really dingy, especially with the brighter accent colours. The whole colour scheme needs to be improved - the red navbars on the profile pages are also clashing with the light purpley colour as well.
I like what you've done with the header area for the most part but that needs some improvement. The flag, map and magnifying glass look really out of place on top of the photo, and compete for attention with the logo on the left. I would use a photo of a flag instead. Or you could try enlarging that map and fading it out in the background. You'd only be able to see the two coasts mainly, but that could still be effective. Also remove the .com from the logo or put it inline with the canadate text (in the same font). Then flip the cupid around so it's pointing towards the page content rather than off the edge.
Overall tghe graphics need some improvement - I'm also noticing the buttons on the right side of the registration page. Just not in keeping with the look and feel.
I plugged in some search terms (not that I'm looking!) just to see what happens with the profiles. YOu really need to give people some more open ended questions here so they can get more of their personality across. It's hard to know if you want to talk to someone based on a few vital statistics and basic interests.

I don't really have much else to add to what Megan said but why does it say panic in the right hand corner on the same line as the navigation??
