First up viewing white text on dark blue background is hard on the eyes after a while. Also having links the same colour as your text is confusing.
Your link across the top first looked like one long single link, you need to seperate them a bit

It's a good program and think for a fan site you could have a bit more info, example 'the cast' page could have bio for each or links to their own site if they have one, do a search and find as much info on them as you can.
Good start

You've reviewed one other site, can you please do some more as this is a community where we help each other and not see it as a chore!

I'm getting an error on the page, but that could be because my popup killer is stopping something load.

Even on a personal site I think that it is good to have a graphical logo rather than just having bigger text to say 'Sid's Cafe'. It will give the site identity and provide a focal point for the start of the page, rather than having that banner at the top which detracts from the rest of the page - put it at the bottom if it must be on the page. Oh just realised it a tripod banner so maybe you can't!

There isn't really a design to the site, it just looks like pictures dotted on the page (some of which aren't showing) and then the white boxes at the botton which look out of place. You also need to make sure that every page fits at 800*600 as some of them are giving me a horizontal scrollbar.

Great TV show though, I grew up with it Wink

My advise to you is to learn html. There are loads of tutorials online, do a search on Google and also learn CSS while you are at it. You are only young but give it time and you can build something great and still use free space! There are also free graphics programs you can download to do yourself a good logo Wink

Agreed....

I still find it very difficult to adapt to sites that don't use a standard left navigation box.
Maybe you should consider a white background, black text, but put the pictures in light grey frames to make it a bit easier on the eye.

Try Fonts:
Verdana
Tahoma
Arial

(Simple fonts are easy to read and more asthetically pleasing)

For someone of your age I thought your website is pretty good, just the pictures on the left look busy and maybe a space in between each would make it look better
The background too could be a bit better, i think pictures always display better on a white background but if you want something what about a watermark in there

I'll be back

There's no reason you can't build a good site on limited resources! HTML is quite easy to learn, and free HTML editors are widely available. Once you learn the code and have a good editor to work with you'll find that you'll be able to have a lot more control over your pages. Also ask around about better sources for free hosting. I think there are better options out there (ask your ISP too - a lot of them provide free webspace with your account).

I think you've done a pretty good job with this so far. You've got a consistent colour scheme, consistent fonts, consistent layout. It's a good start. What you'll need now is a good logo and a navigation menu.
