Review Request - Severin Classic Autos - College E-Commerce Course Project
Hi everyone,
I am new to HTML Forums and am hoping to learn a few things while I'm here.
I am a college student who has developed an e-commerce website for a course project. The website is for a fictional business called Severin Classic Autos, that I have created for the purpose of this project. This fictional business sells classic and collector automobiles and automobile parts. The website is located at severinclassicautos.comli.com.
Please note that you cannot actually purchase any item on the website as the company is purely ficticious. The shopping cart is functional as is the "Buy Now" feature for each individual item, but an "under construction" page is in place of the page which one would normally enter their payment information/shipping details.
One step of this college project is to have our websites critiqued by others on web forums such as HTML Forums.
Would any of you be kind enough to browse the website I have created and provide an honest critique of it? I am looking for comments, criticisms and suggestions on any aspect you feel deserves attention. Is the navigation easy and intuitive? Is the look and feel of the website attractive or not? Was it effective in attracting you into making a purchase? If not, what suggestions would you have (whether you are actually interested in classic/collector automobiles or not) that could improve this effectiveness?
I intend to review several of the other website submissions on this board both out of courtesy and also in the hopes that some of you may be gracious enough to provide the time to do the same for my site as well.
Thank you!
