You have some stiff competition out there from some very established forums.

I'm not overly keen on the look of it to be honest, the colour would get on my nerves after a short time and the text is much too small to be reading much of it. Also the links at the very top, the font makes them hard to read and they look blurry.

I think that the space allocated for the actual messages is far too small and in this instance you should have a layout that stretches to fit the screen.

I know of that, but the problem with forums is that it is a nightmare to pull the good information from the junk. This way news, articles and external articles are seperate from question about pagerank and why they are not listed.

The links I am going to change but I'm keeping the layout.

I personally like the space for content I have asked quite a few questions to general net users and they prefer this layout and space.

I agree about the space for messages. The font is tiny and hard to read and it all seems very cramped in there. I know, you don't care what I think about that...

I also think that a lot of other elements seem squeezed into the space. The logo especially is so tiny and cramped in. For branding purposes it would probably be a good idea to make that stand out more. The left sidebar could use some padding as well. I'm also finding that decorative font for the nav to be hard ot read and the links on the left side should be styled differently from plain text.

Otherwise it looks pretty good. I like the colour scheme and you've done a good job of arranging things on the page. It would be nice to see a break from the boxy layout though.

I have to say... this design is a tad boxy, and the fonts are waaaaay to small.

I reccomend that you make your logo a link that clicks through to your homepage... I always try there first if I wanna go home. Smiling
