REVIEW REQUEST: seemecreate.com
Yep, it's that time again. Another redesign!! Thanks for putting up with me guys (and gals), I know I am asking for a lot of reviews. I posted my last design, and I'm sure some of you remember... It was a cool concept, but ultimately proved too complicated. You can still see it here.

So I made a newer, simpler design with little content, but an easy way to browse my portfolio (I hope). So I'll stop the jabbering and post the link. Thanks in advance!

I like your site, it has a clear and simple (but effective) design. The colour scheme works very well.
The only bad point i can see is that the graphics seem a little blury - i think you should sharpen them up a bit. The graphics im talking about are 'See Me Create' 'profile' 'portfolio' and 'contact' the rest of the images are fine.
I also think a hover action over the three Navigations would be an advantage - maybe a glow? around the text edges.

Great suggestions, I didn't realize how blurry they were until closer inspection. I think I have corrected it now, let me know if they are still blurry. The roll-over is a nice touch as well. Thanks Andrew!

I think its a real nice web site. I really like the mouse-over links that's a very nice touch. And I agree with druagord, keep it simple and that you have done. Nice job!

I hope I'm not violating any rules by bumping this back to the top, but I was really hoping to get more reviews as I intend on actually keeping this design for a while. Thanks to everyone so far, it's certainly appreciated.

Sorry Joe - I meant to throw in my two cents a while back, got sidetracked, and forgot. It is probably just as well that I waited - you've tweaked it some? To be honest, I wasn't that crazy about it the day you posted but looking it over now, it appears to have grown on me It is clean, simple, and I like the colours.
A few things:
I don't like the gap I'm seeing in the vertical line to the left - the way it resumes south of the whitespace. This may be by design but it screams "glitch" to me.
Don't justify your text - browser support for that is spotty at best.
The send/clear buttons on your contact form are pretty jagged.
I'm still not sure how I feel about the "segmented screenshots" in your portfolio. It is a neat idea but none of them really give the visitor a complete picture. Perhaps if the first one was a complete screenshot?
Other than that, nice work.

Great review Taff, thanks.
The glitch =) between the content and the menu is (as you guessed) by design, but I can now see how someone could easily think that I just can't properly construct tables. With that in mind, I will try and think of something else to do with that area.
The first mistake I did with justify alignment was [align=justify] in the div, which I believe will be depricated soon. Second, I know that it is not supported well, and unfortunatly I love justified copy. I moved the attribute to my style sheet as text-align:justify;. I hear I shouldn't do this a lot, so I'll have to think about it before I can lose my precious "justification".
Well, you hit "The send/clear buttons on your contact form are pretty jagged" on the nose! Yep, they looked pretty bad on close inspection, so I replaced them with cleaner images (they were cached for me so I had to CTRL+R many times to see them).
With the screen shots, I think that maybe a full screenshot of the site (reduced and optimized of course) is a good idea. I got caught up in displaying the detail of my work and thus never showed the whole "picture", if you will.
Thanks again Taff!

Just wanted to be clear - I *do* like the horizontal gap. It is just the resumption of the vertical line that throws me.
The new buttons are much better and the rectangles probably fit the scheme better anyway.
Justified text: I'm still a little sore on this issue after justifying the entire content of a site I recently completed at the client's insistance. I do like well justified text but the gaps created from a poor rendering just drive me nuts - almost kept the project out of my portfolio because of it... almost

I'm a little undecided about this one,
I like the design but think you have done better.
The bottom section looks out of place, the main bit flows with lines and shadows etc but the bottom bit is big and plain - flat.
I don't mean to sound harsh. Just think it's missing a colour or something, can't quite put my finger on it.
