I can't believe the technology behind the site, it is prob the best ive seen in a long time. It did take quite a while to load but it was worth it, every book ive read on design and promo says that cut back on the bells and whilstles but this site is the exceptions, i love it.

I don't know much about the technology side of things but I think your interface could use some work. Individual parts of it looks good but overall there should be less clutter and more coherence between elements. The header graphic, for example, looks like two totally different graphics - they don't relate to each other. There are also too many graphic elements and effects going on there. It looks overly complicated.

Also add some more space around elements to provide more of a sense of space rather than clutter. The content text, for example, should have some space around it rather than butting up against the border of the table. The left menus should also have more padding around elements and text sizes should also be a little bigger.

The right sub-menu should be redesigned to blend in more with the rest of the deisgn.

Overall I like the look and feel and graphic techniques used, I just think there's too much going on at once here.

Hehe... Alrighty! That was a good review.. Thanks.. But.. What would you consider the "elements", I don't get that. Shocked

I mean between graphics or parts of graphics or "things" on the page. Like the left part of the header graphic is separate from the middle part and the right part. See what I mean? By "elements" i mean parts of the design. The navbar is an element, its header is another one, the right sidebar is an element etc. etc.

I like the idea behind your look, but I feel Megan hit the problem. Each of your elements (header, left nav bar, right nav bar, and footer) looks like they were designed without trying to blend them together into one whole picture.

Each one is great on its own, but they should all look like they are part of one frame around your content. It also looks like you have a space blocked out for an ad banner or something on your header. If that's what it's for... cool, but if not you might want to do something about the grey space in the top right corner.

One other thing is you need to add some padding around your content area. Right now all your content is butting up against the left nav bar making it crowded looking and difficult to read.

Other than that... I really like your site. Smiling
