Welcome to TWF mloz & thanks for reviewing some of the others sites, carry on as you'll get plenty of inspiration from them.
Is this your first website? If there was nothing on the domain before this then I'd be inclined to wait until you have a good website to put up as right now this doesn't look at all professional and even if it only took you 5 hours you want it to give the right impression for you company.
You really need a good logo, as this is what brands the site and people associate with. Then you need to work on your graphics as right now they areg blurry, jaggedy and text doesn't work well as a jpeg as it turns hairy!
If you are doing website design then you really need to have a very good website to show off what you can do. Right now your site doesn't have a design
I wouldn't have the English & French on the same page. If you are going to have two languages then IMO you need two versions of the site and on the index page you let people choose which one they want to view.
Sorry if that sounded harsh but you did ask
Julia - if life was meant to be easy Michael Angelo would have painted the floor....
I think you would be better of with a basic, but nicely designed splash type page stating that your site will be released soon but in the meantime you can contact (insert e-mail address) for web design services.
P.S. Don't underline text that isn't a link, and learn how to anti-alias.
