This layout seems really oversized to me. This is because the content is so spread out with a whole lot of space in between. For example, the "Welcome to LiveMusicFans.com" text is so far down the page that it's not even visible to most people when the page first loads. You're getitng a big horizontal scrollbar at 800x 600 as well. That ends to be the most common screen res. these days so you should really make sure your design fits in there.
I also think that it would be nice to see fewer boxes around here - I just don't think the boxy look is a great idea (it segments the page too much - subtle segmentation is one thing, but when everything on the page is in its own little box it tends to divide things up too much. There are many ways to provide a subtle visual spearation between elements - you don't have to use strict boxes all the time).
The other pages seem to suffer from similar problem. Don't use blue links on a black background - the contrast is too low and it's hard to read the text. I do like what you've done with the area above the navbar, the slanty part of that block there really adds some interest to the design.
The other problem I see is that the logo doesn't stand out very well at all. Part of the problem is that it's a completely different style from the rest of the design. You should really design a site around the logo, to give the site some sort of an identity. I also think that the logo shouldn't be boxed in like that. Maybe you could redesign the header area to extend the metalic background effect. You could also create other graphics for the site to extend that sort of look.
Overall, I like it. Clean and crisp, sharp images.
I personally don't like the way things fade in and out. Also, the navigation bar isn't alwasy on every page. Furthermore, the header part is too big I think. Finally, how about enabling users to search for various types of live music? E.g. rock etc.?
