Hey I'm pretty much looking for some crits with my layout because I haven't gotten up all the content yet but there is still some on the site like a few pictures etc.

Thanks for reviewing some of the others sites.

I personally wouldn't put the google ad above your own content as it looks at first glance that that's your logo/banner and also putting that you site is optimised for a certain screen resolution is bad practice IMO - make it work for all resolutions, especially 800*600 which is what a lot of people still use or like me have their browsing windows minimised to.

Once into the site I'm still not sure what this site is for? Use relevant page titles rather than 'New Page 1'.

The graphics are really blurry, the text too small and there's a distinct lack of colour, making the text even harder to read and the links almost unoticable. I don't like the thick blue border going around the outside and I also don't like iframes.

I really don't like the thought of this type of site which advocates the use of guns!

I think you might misunder stand what my site is about it is not about real steal weapons. Airsoft is a hobby very similar to paintball but they are electric powered 1:1 replicas that shoot 6mm plastic bbs. I will take your crits seriously and rework out the site.

About the front page, I don't have a problem with the ads being there at all. Actually, that's probably the best place for them. They're not distracting from the graphic but they're also in a place where people will see them and you might get some revenue back. While I'm here, you should make that whole graphic a link to the inside of the site rather than just that little button. Either that or make the enter text bigger.

The inside of the site itself is a big mess in Opera and Mozilla. Better to use standard coding practices that work in all browsers rather than just one. THe nav links are on top of the white bar underneath the grey area where they're supposed to be and the form buttons are overlapping the left edge. That's what you get when you make a site with front page. Try learning the code itself. It'll give you more control over what you're doing and you'll be able to make something that works in all browsers not just one of them.

I agree that the graphics look really fuzzy. What are you using to create those anyway? I'm also confused as to the purpose of the "no image to display" graphic that shows up at the top of every page. That's really where a logo should go, and it looks dumb to have an empty image sitting there. I understand what you're doning when I see the pictures page, but you really should find a way to rework that so there isn't an empty image on all the other pages. Maybe have the picture enlargements come up in a pop-up or something.

I think it would be nice to have an explanation of what airsoft is for people like Julia and myself who really have no idea what you're talking about.

Overall not a bad start. You've got a consistent layout going and some innovative ideas.
