Review Request: FreeWebsiteTemplates.com
Hello,
I am Mike, owner and webmaster of FreeWebsiteTemplates.com
I have launched this website about two months ago and it seems to be pretty successful so far. I have just come to ask what you think of it and what content you'd like to see more of.
Soon I will be adding over 17,000 clipart animations and 700 3D Graphics, sorted by categories. I hope to have this online by the end of the month. I'll keep you informed.
On a side note,
For anyone who would like to do a little intenet marketing, I have advertising space available. You may read about the advertising position here: http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/advTop.cfm
Thanks alot you guys.
Mike

Hi, Mike! Welcome to TWF! When you posted this thread you did see the Posting Agreement, right? We'd appreciate it if you could help us out and review a few other sites Stop by the Introductions forum too, and let us know a little more about yourself.
The first thing I noticed about your site is that the basic motif is very similar to that of Coolhomepages.com. Same colours, same circle with similar arrow symbol, very similar logo text. It's disappointing to see something that looks like it's copied from another site. Even if that wasn't your intention, it would be a good idea to do something more original and unique for your site.

how about making your products a little more clearer(not sure the word) so when the user glances at the web site, the eyes meet directly on what they are looking for. seems to me your space isn't being used wisely enough; the colours are nice and all but it really could be better. well, that's all i can think of right now.

The blue bar in the orange header doesn't fit in.

When I arrived at your site at first glance I thought it was coolhomepages.com, you have a very similar look to your site.
Whats with the advertising? Surely you don't want people to go off to other sites selling the same things as you?

nice layout on the left hand side and good colours. i do not hoever like the flashing red AdSense code. features that i could use would be things like, top templates. or have the different level of templates placed horizontaly . umm if you dont know what i mean check out webhosting sites its pretty standard with them
but i like it. nice job

it's a nice layout and good content
the google ads are a little too close to the main body - move to the right a bit would look a lot better.
the small button links at the bottom (just about the text navigation) look cheap, don't add to the site.
nice tho over all
What is the www.latest-thing.co.uk?

Your website name is freewebsite templates - thats what your homepage looks like - an out of the box template.
I think a little more creativity would go far.
Just my thoughts
