ok, well first off i would lose the navigation image on the right side, just get rid of the text on it is all you need to do.

100 per page might be too much for some people, why not allow them to change the number displayed.

as you scroll down the pages seem really plain.

animal images 77 and 78 are the same one.

took a while to load your nav images.

you're logo is way too blurry. It's a cool idea, but eh..get it sharper, and move it to the left..the eye looks at that left corner Smiling Good luck Sticking out tongue

It takes an awful long time for that flash image at the top to load on dial-up. Also, the flash image isn't lined up with the background image. Have you considered just having a static image there instead of the flash?

There is a horizontal scroll (about 45 pixels).

The affiliate links on the right are not ligning up properly. They are aligned to far to the left.

Goodness, you have some browser issues. In Mozilla, the text in the main body part is centered and not left aligned like in IE and Opera. The text is considerably larger in Mozilla and Opera. And in Opera, the side navigation graphics don't show up until way below the fold and they are tiling instead of showing up once.

As for the 100 thumbnails per page--this really isn't a problem for me. Sometimes it can be faster to wait for that many images to load rather than going from page to page looking at just a few. Like jammin said, why don't you let the visitor pick how many per page?

Not a bad start. I think your main problem here is layout issues. The wallpapers are great! Smiling

Those navbars are doing really weird things in Opera. When I load the page they're appearing further down, as Disaster-master said. They don't have the lighter background there either. Then when I mouse over they jump back to the top where they're supposed to be! Very odd.

I like the design overall but I feel that it could use some refinement. THe header area is really nice - the flash isn't too distracting so that's good. I'm a big fan of red so I really like this design.

I do feel that the navigation could use some improvement. I don't feel that a three-column layout is necessary here, first of all. YOu could move the part on the right to the bottom of the left side with no problems. I also think the "real content" menu with the actual list of walpapers should appear above the "administrative junk" menu which is currently at the top. People are going to want to use the wallpapers menu so put it in a place where it's most convenient for them. I also find that the text on here is a little small and low contrast. Links should also be styled differently from plain body text to make them more obvious to the user.

Another thing I think should be changed is the inset box in the main body area - it's completely unnecessary. There would also be more space available for wallpapers if that was removed and the left column was removed. Then you could do three or more columns of thumbnails. With so many wallpapers on a page there is a lot of scrolling. It would also be a good idea to put a smaller navigation menu along the bottom, so people can navigate to other sections of the wallpaper directory (why are you linking to google and yahoo down there?????)

i just noticed that your affiliates bar is always showing, if you resize the page it moves along wih the page, i would change that right away. im sure it has something to do with your css which i cant look at right now since i am on a public comp and it wont let me see it.

Tv 85 and Tv 27 are the same image.
tv images 91 and 24 are also the same.
anime images 99 and 98 should go into art instead.
nature image 99 also seems like it should go in art.
TV 3 & 5 should both go in anime.
TV 4 should go in with them, plus it is tagged by animewallpapers.com
anime 24 and movies 63 are basically the same, one is tagged the other isnt.

nature images 93-98 are all tagged by another website Sad

also maybe a warning before entering the celebrity part of the site.

well ill leave you to fix those little problems (can you tell im bored in my internet aps class?)

just wondered... did you design that yourself or use a template service like templatemonster, cos I swear I've seen that design before somewhere...

I can't really add much that has not already been said. Your affiliates code needs some work though. The browser opened in a small window before I made it full screen. The affiliates stayed in the center of the screen when I did this blocking everything.
