Looks good. I like the font you've chosen for the logo. It does a good job of conveying the action-packed nature of hockey.

The first thing I'm wondering about is the list of words underneath the title. I'm thinking those must be names of local towns or something, but there should be more space or some sort of delineator between them like a bullet or a | . It would also be a good idea to put something on here about where you are from in a broader sense (Minnesota?). The other thing I"m going to complain about is the use of the default font (Times New Roman) on the front page - use a quick stylesheet to change that to a nice sans-serif like verdana or tahoma.

Everything seems to be looking right and working fine in Opera 6.

Hello! Well, I like your overall layout a lot. It's very uniform and clean. I was wondering about the width of your pages though...my screen is set at 800 x 600 and the pages are a little bit too wide so I had to end up scrolling just a little bit to see the whole page. My personal preference is to not have a page go so wide it has to be scrolled. I think it wouldn't detract from your design to pull things together a bit more to fit on the page.

Other than that one thing, I think your website looks great!

aligns ok in NS7 but does have a horziontal scroll at 800x600 on all browsers

The little hockey dude/dudette is a little dark, without the stick would be very hard to make out what it was.

I don't know if it's a biggy or not but I'd be inclined to add the country it involves

Could you also review some other sites as it helps everyone if they get feedback from all levels, thanks

    Horizontal scroll here too.

    Nice looking site Robby. Smiling

I am not crazy about the color of the navigation links on the left side though. They look a little washed out in my opinion being gray. At first I didn't like the blue outline on mouseover either but it sorta grows on you. Wink This might be a good case for just plain text links using different colors on mouseover.

You little "hockey dude" (as busy put it...LOL) does need to be lightened up a wee bit.

It's this bit of code that's causing the horizontal scroll - which is telling the table to be bigger than the screen size!

It's a nice site and with the tweaks mentioned above will just make it that bit better. Good start!

    Ditto on the sans-serif font!

I only have 2 other things to add:

Your navigation graphics seem to load slowly and reload every page. Could just be a server/traffic thing this morning but I found myself waiting for the navigation so I could move on.

The colours don't work for me. I'm assuming that these are team colours and that you are stuck with them...

Actually, the more I look at it the less reason I have to complain about the colours. I can't decide if it is the shades themselves or they way they've been applied that bothered me. I was going to delete this whole "colour" thing but since it was my first gut reaction, I'll let it stand.

Hi, I'm viewing your site on a laptop with 1024x768 display which leaves a chunk of white screen to the right of your site.

Your hockey player graphic could do to have more colour to make it stand out more.

Don't know if you're aware but your home link doesn't work from a lot of the other pages (haven't checked them all).

Loading time was fine and I'll just add that I agree with others that your links are a bit dull looking.

    Good effort. Best of luck.Wink

    Hi,

I'm checking on IE5 at 1025x786 and I see a white section just below your navigation.
Overall: good layout, but IMHO the colors are a bit too dark (or the white is too bright Wink).

I like the roll over image effect, nice touch...

Looks great at 1200x600... under construction pages are not a good idea. Best to just leave the link blank until the pages are ready.
