I'd be specially interested in the comments about the color scheme.
And yes, it's weird, but that's the plan...

The Little yellow box on the left will contain the navbar, but we haven't decided on the site structure yet.

Hey anti,

First of all, welcome back Smiling
I like the color scheme. It's happy and I think that matches the subject.
I would do something about the green in the logo, though (and the white background also). Maybe make that green the same green as the background of the page (or vice versa Smiling)

Cheers,

White background ?!
There shouldn't be _any_ white on the whole page ?!

In IE and NS 4.7 I see a white box around that image. That's because those browsers don't support transparent PNG's. It's fine in Opera, but I think that the green text on orange background is a problem. The text isn't standing out from the background very well which makes it hard to read and causes it to lack impact as a logo. Maybe try put a yellow outline around the text?

I'm also getting a fairly large horiztonal scrollbar at 1024 with windows taskbar on the right side. I don't see any reason why this design can't be made to fit 800x600 or even smaller.

In Opera I see an empty yellow box on the left side. In IE I see a bunch of broken image boxes (some of which are going purple on mouseover). IN NS 4.7 I also get a bunch of broken images. Obviously there is a problem here.

In addition, I would also like to say that I think this design needs something to break up the boxy look. Some graphic illustrations or curved corners here and there would be a big help. I don't mind the colour scheme except for the mint green background.

I agree with everything that Megan's just said! The colours are ok but I think they'd get a bit too much after a short while on the site. The logo looks very fuzzy to me and without seeing what the navigation is supposed to look like it may be a tad boring, I would expect to see some crazy t-shirts!

Well it seems color is subjective. I've had people complain about the colors on a couple of my sites, but I still haven't changed them.

I might suggest that you use a dark green on your background though, instead of the VERY bright green you have now.
Of course that's just my subjective oppinion. Wink

I'm not seeing any of your link images. Maybe you're doing an update and that's why, but you might want to check those.

One other thing...
Did you really mean to have a 50 pixel border on your page body? It might look good on a very large screen, but it really pushes the content out and down an awful lot on a smaller screen.
If that's what you wanted though, ignore that comment.

Looks like you could have an interesting site here.
Keep having fun with it!

I love the orange and yellow colors but the two greens (background and logo) are clashing. Not crazy about the font for the logo either. Guess I am being nit picky tonight....sorry. Wink

I don't see any images where the nav should be. You probably have a reason for that. I just haven't read previous posts for this thread yet. I do like the purple rollover though. The horizontal scroll sorta kills it all for me. Oh, and did I say that I don't understand a word the site says? Laughing out loud (darn americans...LOL)

I think this will be an interesting site when you finish.

Good luck!

OK.

Thanks for that first round.
Looks like I'm getting a bit too used to that 4800x1200 desktop....

I played a bit with the colors, should be better for your eyes.
The "transparent background _bug_" should be fixed.
I fixed the margin and reduced the width.

The navbar isn't there yet, as we haven't really decided on a structure yet.

And our first batch of shirts was sold out within 92 minutes, so there is no reason to "tease" our customers....

BTW:
Official Opening is Jan. 1st 2003 so this is realy pre-pre-beta....
But I wanted some feedback before investing too much work.
And now that I found the forums again I wanted to say "hello again"...

Colours better but I'm still not 'crazy' about the logo but it is very hard to say overall without the navigation showing. What are you planning on putting there, graphics or text?? Still getting a horizontal scrollbar at 800*600.

Logo. Is noted. Will let a real designer rework it.
Navigation is comming up.

Still scrolling ?!
Can you make a screenshot ?!

The scrolling is being caused by the fact that your tables are 780 wide plus the default margins meaning that it wont fit at a 800*600 resolution. The most I have my tables to ensure a fit at this resolution is 760.
