You know, I was looking for a better way to play chess online with my friend (still installing Java plugin to play on Yahoo!). I'm in the middle of one "manual" email chess game already; might like to give your site a try.
I'd also started designing the frontend to PHP Chess, and funnily enough, I was going for a very similar look to your site there -- particularly the title/header area. Hrm, coincidence happens.
Anyway, your site generally looks good. Just needs some refinements
- add more padding to your text areas. They're all up against the edge.
- too much bold text everywhere. Use it to highlight only important bits, not every message on screen.
- use fonts consistently. I see some text is Serif, others Sans.
- have a consistent layout -- the footer is different on various pages.
That's all I can think of briefly.

Great Minds think a like:) Thanks for looking at my site. Did you view it in netscape or explorer? Explorer seems to have problems with the design? I am having trouble with the font when viewed in explorer it appears to large. I can't fiqure it out. I will work on the footer.
Thanks

How are you defining your fonts (i.e., in pixels, points, em's, etc.)? I believe Explorer has issues with some of these font definitions (all except for pixels), so that could be a potential problem. I haven't looked at your code yet to see how you defined fonts, or if you used CSS to define them yet, though.

Those are font tags (sidenote: great example of horrible code made by Dreamweaver)
