review please - www.neuro2000.com
Hi!
OK, first of all I have to say this is a hungarian web site which I just re-designed. It has an only shop, flash, etc. I would like your oppinion of the look, the feeling, the impression you get. Probably you won't understand the text, which is all right if you are not hungarian. This is a computer hardware shop, one of the biggest in Budapest. Thanks in advance!

Looks good! The first thing I'm going to complain about is the navbar... it just doesn't look like a ndavbar. It's hard to say when I don't understand the words there, but I think it's important for the navbar to be readily identifiable as such.
The second thing is that I'm getting a big horizontal scrollbar in Opera 6 at 1152 (taskbar on the right side).
Is that the companies logo? I mean, do they use it for all their publications? It could use some work - that font is really bland. I also think that it could be moved over to the left next to the computer picture there. It would be good if you could create a relationship between the text and the graphic there.
Otherwise a good job. I like the way you've done the graphic header there with the blue bands across the screen.

Hi Megan!
Thanks for your quick review. Well, first of all I have to say you are absolutley right, the nav bar is just... well, nothing at all really. This is because there are not many links on the site and not enough room as well. They wanted the big Flash commercial (which is rotating every time you visit the page by the way) so much, that it took up all the page, not to mention the banner (which had to look really good) and the company logos at the end.
The font - yes, thats their original font, they use this and only this for everything, I couldn't do anything about that. The computer on the left is a bit faded, I call that the DREAM EFFECT - many people can only dream of that Sun Blade config that's for sure.
I'll take your advice and try to get the text closer to the PC. Thanks again!
Balázs

Hmmm... I guess I should look at this with flash turned on! Oh, okay, those are alright. I like the ones that stop better than the one that keeps going. I also think that the design style of some of the ads should be integrated more with the rest of the site. The look and feel is very different in the ads (using serif fonts, for example).

Horizontal scrollbar is the first problem, it's there no matter what resolution I view at! I think it may look better if you set the margins at 0 so that there was no whitespace above and to the left of the header part. The other thing is the orange blocks with the arrow in, make them transparant as on the blue section (nav bar) you see white corners and the links there need something to liven them up say a change of colour on hover? Another thing I've noticed is that depending on what page you are on depends on whether those links show as visited or not! Make the links all act the same on that top part.
Overall a nice looking site though.

The scroll bar is big at 800x600. Since the page view was very different in 3 browsers, I took a look at your source code WOW, whata mess, you seriously need to fix that, you have

First of all, good job on the website! I enjoyed many of the graphics. I have only some minor complaints, and if fixed, your website will go from being good to excellent!!
1) To the right side of the screen, I am getting a lot of extra space because the top image and bottom image keep scrolling over. I think that this could easily be fixed
2) Some of the links on the graphics are "off-centered" but only in a minor way No big deal though. I recommend, if at all possible, to make a nice "Left Bar" to display the links on their own and for easier, cleaner navigation.
Again, good work and keep it up!
