Review a personal website of mine, please?
This is personal website I made which will be part of my online showcase portfolio for an upcoming design site of mine coming soon. It is a half-finish site as I still need to work on the navigation and add more content to it. Please review/critque it based on the layout, color scheme, broswer compatiblity, etc. I would really like to know what you honestly dislike on it so far.

Interesting! Very different. It is stretching a bit too much at higher resolutions though, making the "E" and "M" a little too far apart to really get the message across. Maybe try moving those to the inside of their respective boxes. Now, I don't know how I'm actually supposed to get into the site. Oh, okay, that "EM" at the bottom looks like it should do something. Make it more clear to people how they're suppoed to enter the site.
THis part is a little too red I think, and the font isn't matching with what you've got on the main page. I'm assuming you're going to replace those question marks with something in the future. Another thing that's kind of bugging me here is the big black shadows on the main body part, the ?'s and the little buttons in the content area.

Thanks a lot for the review there, Megan. Sounds like you were posting as you were viewing my site. heh. The EM on the splash page stretches because it's in a 100% width table on opposite sides, so on higher resolution it would look far apart. So I should make it one image? And yeah, the big black shadow on the main page is part of the design. The pesky moving "?" is navigation which will be work on soon. I was thinking of elaborating the header a bit; perhaps a little graphic or so, or do you think what I currently is fine?
Thanks everyone (one so far) for reviewing. I will consider your advices and make nessecary improvements as needed.

Really lots of red colors...maybe a bit too much but it seems this is a personal site so what ever strikes your fancy I guess....and the sound on mouseover at the EM just scared the crap out of me.
You have the word Elusive under the big E. Why not put the word Mind over the letter Minstead of below it? just a thought. That way people could see the title of your site without having to scroll. I also think that orange clashes with the reds you are using. Black instead may tone down the shocking effect on the eyes. just another thought.
I like the shapes and effects you are using on the second page. Unique looking.
I think I would do the scrollbar like this:
Oh, not sure if this is suppossed to be there but here is a screen shot of a portion of the top of the second page. There is a small section that looks a bit out of place like maybe it should be the darker red color.
Since I can't go anywhere else I guess that is it for now.

I agree with Busy that you perhaps need to put the Mind above the M and get rid of the orangey part at the top so that you can then make it all fit onto the screen at 800*600 without a scrollbar.
On the next page I would say that the top section is too big as I have to scroll down at 800*600 to then start scrolling the iframe, which I personally don't like especially as there is a horizontal scroll bar as well. The layout is fun looking but I would say looks much better at larger resolutions.

Wow Red!
I like it!
Kind of an interesting trend I'm on lately... so far this morning I've seen a very pink site, a very blue site and now a very red site.
I guess I'm an extremist (or an artist... ha), but I like seeing someone try to create a site using many different shades of just one color.
In the very least it's different... and that's hard to do.
The only problem I see is the "orange" you have on your first page clashes with your red. It works wonderfully on your second page (as an accent color), but since there is so much of it on the splash page, and since it is basically a red box on top of an orange box, it's too stark looking. I don't know if I'd go with black, but you may want to "play" with your colors on the first page.
I am intrigued by your layout! I love the angles that lead into each other. Very interesting!
You might want to try to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar in the frame section. It is sort of distracting.
Let us know when you get it finished. I'll be interested to see it complete.
