Welcome to TWF Caesar,
Can you please help us out as we do ask that before you receive a website critique for your own site that you review at least three other sites in this forum. Also why not stop by the introductions forum and tell us all a bit about yourself.

This page looks pretty good but I think that your branding could be better. If you're just talking about this lnx product maybe you could do a separate logo for it. At first glance I wasn't sure whether the purpose of this page was this Coreshell thing or the lnx product.
Could you maybe create a guest user temporarly so we can get in there and take a look? I am looking at the screenshot you posted but it is kind of hard to see what's going on there. What I would probably do with this is make the content background white and just keep the dark blue as a bar across the top containing the logo.

I suppose it is alright if it is just for you and your friends. Just seems like it should have more content than just a page of links. But then again, that is what it is for.
I like the colors that you have used. They look nice together.
When I first went to the page with the links it was in a different language so I didn't know that I could make it show in English until I poked around a bit. You may want to put (in English) that there is an English selection for dummies like me who only speak one language.
I haven't figured out why you require registration for the site???

You should also put the login fields right on the front page there - just makes it easier for the user. The registered user link isn't working in my browser. It would probably be a lot easier just to put the boxes there. Also make the two graphics there for "registration" and "Registered User" the same (not different).
Otherwise it looks quite good. There is not much else I can say other than that you should try to do a better job of explaining what is going on here. These does seem like a very useful application. Oh, and work on cross-browser compatibility.

What a great idea!
Anyone who has travelled and surfed the net from abroad would use this.
Unfortunately I'm unable to travel much at the present time. However when I do I use Internet Cafes and would like to keep my bookmarks online somewhere.
One suggestion: It would be great to be able to upload all bookmarks/favourites at one time. You know browse to: Local Disk/WINDOWS/FAVOURITES and upload all. Sure would beat adding them one at a time.
Good luck with your business venture. Eventually you should be able to make some money out of paid advertising on web pages and monthly email newsletter.

Just checked.
There are a couple of sites doing online bookmarking but not many. Really only one main one: http://www.mybookmarks.com
Not many competitors. You should still do ok.
I would change the name and get a seperate domain name.

AND I had to go to IE to do this - cross-browser compatability is right - you lose a tolerable amount of style on the front page in N6, but when I click on "Register" nothing happens
I log-in as demo, demo from [email protected], but nothing happens - hmmm, I went back and chose "English" and a new page started loading - but it was just the front page again - there's a terrorist waiting to use this computer so I better write down yer url on a piece of paper and try this again later

I would love to be more detailed in my review but even the demo account does not appear to work
I can see the idea behind this and it could run and run but you really need to give the user a bit more of a demo rather than just a screenshot.
Perhaps have a demo (actual pages) walking the user step by step through the main features, advantages and benefits of the site? Give them something more to make 'em really want to sign up...
Promising idea.....
BTW You instantly get a thumbs up from me as you are coding in ColdFusion which is my second favourite language next to English Someone's gotta show these PHP devotees that theres more to life!!!!

first up, the green links and header colors, dont use the same color, very confusing.
browser problems - NS4.7 is black text move your meta tags inside your head section, the doc tag should be the first tag, then your html tag. looking at your body tags it seems you dont compensate NS anyways, so ignore the above (if you want to you need to add marginheight and marginwidth into your body tags for set margins in NS and/or Opera). clicking on registed user refreshs the page with no input options. demo is full screen
Opera6 (as opera6) links are default blue and purple, again this could be from your meta tags outside the head section, and/or your bad style sheet, link tags in CSS is a:link, a:visited, a:active and a:hover for effect. pressing registered user in Opera gives a javascript error
you also need to use "#" for your RGB color codes
typing in demo as username and password gives
Eng: Attention.
We haven't got any user name like this > "demo"

I went to your web site and registered but I noticed that my links will be shared with other users like in the "Last 10 links at Lnx" box.
I have several links which I don't want others to see like a database with password already entered and links to web site stats.
Is there anyway to not share links. Make my section completely private?
By the way I like your new domain name.

Of course you have your own section. When you add a new site to your own section. there is a "make it public" checkbox. if you did not check it. the link which was added set private..

I want to use the "upload all your favorites to the LNX!" feature. Will my bookmarks by default remain private using this feature?
