Review Linkative, a Link Building Blog
Hello!
I've just finally launched the site Linkative, a link building blog that will hopefully prove to be a vital resource for webmasters within the next year.
Please review the site's content. I like the design, even though it is not unique.
Do tell me if you enjoy a read or if you have any suggestions.
Thanks - awaiting your honest review.
P.S. How do you like the domain?

I think the content looks okay. It's hard to say with so few posts so far. There's nothing revolutionary here but it's not bad. I like the way you've added resources at the bottom of each post. This is a great way to spread some link love. We've chosen to do the same with many of our articles at A Padded Cell..
The writing style could use some work. This is something that will get better with practice.
As an example, in the first post the words "actually worth investing into" appear three times in the header and first paragraph. Repetition is usually redundant.
"I think my list of premium web directories bypasses many by far. "
Boasting isn't very attractive It doesn't make me want to read more of your blog.
"Please give a link back to this list if you are to use it. All link-backs are appreciated. :]"
Begging for links is kind of tacky too.
The list of directories in your first post would be much better as a table. It would be a lot easier to read that way. If they are all paid directories it would be really helpful to include the cost.
I won't comment much on the design except to say that I find the font size and line-height a little difficult to read. The stars and hearts bit in the graphics is a little cheesy for this topic IMO. You could probably find something that suits the topic better.
There are many webmaster forums listed in your resources, but I see a certain one is missing (no, I'm not asking for a link, just saying ....)

I think you could use a bit more pizazz in your design, but for this kind of resource site a simpler design is key because your visitors will be doing a lot of reading and navigating. I think the font is just a tad bit small, but if I try to increase it via my browser, it throws your whole design off-kilter. As far as the hearts go, I really don't understand the pertinence to the site. The name has no love or heart-related themes, and there is no love-related slogan or anything, so I'm very confused by that. I dislike the setup with the archives; I think that just seeing the titles is going to push me away from trying to read. If you could possibly show the first paragraph of the article or a synopsis with it, I will no longer have to go to each individual article to even see exactly what it's about.
Just a few things to improve the functionality and design of your site.

and all similar pages. make font size small at these pages. remaining site is awesome. good work
