slow to load for some reason,

At first glance its very plain but cluttered, I think the PC's stats on that page should be listed rather than just one after the other, listed could look like you get more.

one of the options was "case painted", what colors?

you also need to use width, height and alt tags on your images.

I clicked on webdesign, and at the bottom of the page it says "last 5 matches" but the link says next 5, typo ?

I clicked on the icon link and got an error, the url in the title bar is "www.graphicrevolutionz.com.com/" + the http.

I entered a pc to see if it works, now it wont let me remove it. the footer on the checkout page comes up as error and the "secure order form" isn't secure.

the layout itself is to plain, the banner section needs something else, a bigger logo and maybe a list of whats where etc

from the demo store, none of the links work, after the url, it has, ".com/store/%25%25sc_store_url%25%25?cart_id=9117539.16227"

ty for your comments yes there are quite a few bugs i am finding in it the matches ? you have got me with the book section i did a search feature and why it is showing a link there i have nooooo idea. lol im still setting up secure gateway. that one will be there. and the only way to remove an item is to go to checkout i will add a cart section on there probably on left site and maybe have a short description with a popup page script for more details

thank you for your feedback =)
will work on it some more

The design is defiantly too plan. Work on adding some more design elements and incorporating a more formatted layout. Take a look at some of the leading computer stores to get an idea of some of the design elements they have used. Also test your site on some larger resolutions. The site does not align correctly on my 1280x1024.

I look forward to seeing your revisions. Good luck!

I have to agree with the others. There's just very little substance here as far as design goes. Try to do something more creative with colours and graphics. Do something more interesting with the navbar.

A couple of other things:

  • Don't center paragraphs of text - it makes things hard to read. I think that most of your content here would work better in lists rather than paragraphs
  • Content labelling: It wasn't clear to me that the e-commerce, web design, perl/cgi etc. sections were books until I clicked on them
  • You're selling the DW 2 Bible ?!? Isn't that just a tad bit outdated? (rhetorical question!)
  • You should add some "about us" type information on here and some guarantees or something to make customers feel more secure about buying from you. Personally I would not buy a system online from a company I knew nothing about. It's hard enough to find a good place in the real world.

More rhetorical questions Megan?

A lot of the books seem to be outdated. Flash 4 for example. Have you picked up a job lot of old version books?

The site looks like you've reached the main page of a site that should infact be within a frame set!

There doesn't seem to any search facility, very important I'd say.

I agree about the quarantees and you really need to have your Terms & Conditions, Delivery details, Privacy statement and details about refunds/returns.

You have to give people a reason to buy from you. I really don't see much reason to buy from you. No offense meant, of course. Do you plan on having more products? The shelves look kind of bare. The only option is a 15" monitor for monitors. Is this because you only added a few items to the site for review?

  • You need a home page. It looks like I am being dropped right into the middle of your site.
  • Logo - very uninspiring and too small. You need to give people some way of remembering you.
  • As said previously about the lack of products, your current page layout makes it look like you have an even smaller selection with the long pages with a lot of whitespace.
  • Shopping Cart - When you add an item to the shopping cart it should take you to the shopping cart so that you can see the item that you have just dropped in there. If it doesn't, people will keep adding to the cart and abandon it. You also need to tell people which fields are required instead of having them guess. Also there should be a checkbox for shipping address to be the same as billing. Also you need to somewhat verify some of these fields like email address and phone number. Apparently they take any value. I entered all the info but recieved an error but it still gave me a chance to submit. When I submitted it, it said that I had an error and said thank you for your order at the same time. Also when I clicked return to front page, the link I got was http://www.commerce-cgi.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.com . Anyway I would consider another shopping cart as that one is a pain to use.

Not ready for prime time in my opinion.
