What do you think of the name?
Wanted something for my kids that was safe to search . Many so called family search engines out their with family filters that do not filter bad content. The site is in beta mode what do you guys think of the whole concept.

The name is unique, something I have not heard before. Usually unique names come out to be pretty popular websites Smiling. I would like to see it when you get it up and running, right now I can not see anything but I think a sensor for kids would be nice to have.

dib-dab-doo reminds me of tic-tac-toe for some reason.
I think the concept is a good one but very hard to enforce, example certain words used in different countrys have different meanings, here in NZ the word damn and toliet are everyday words, while I was touring USA I was told the older generation foundthe word toliet ofensive, and was often told to watch my language when saying damn "damn its hot" etc. another example is calling someone black, we have a lot of Somaon (island people) here, also native NZers are Maoris, its offense to call either one black, plus you probably wouldnt survive saying it to their face Smiling but call someone black is ok in USA.
There are many words which I choose not to use as examples, but things like female dogs, the males sex organ, what Americans use is highy offensive here and I was shocked when I heard a mother say it in a sentence to her son.

dibdabdoo.com - I do like the idea and as long as you monitor the results and have filters that truly work then it should become very popular.

I like the cartoon characters on the first page but if I hadn't read what the site was from your brief into on here then I would have wondered. You need to sell the site a bit on the first page, make people use it rather than another SE and then the rest of the pages could do with something on them to liven them up. After all you are aiming this to kids/schools.

That green moving line thing you have on the results page to me makes me think that something is still loading and I would say that you should have a way of contacting you by email on each page.

I put in a search for sex and was impressed that the results came back as just informative sites. That's a search most kids will do!!

Good luck with it

You definitely need to put your site name on there! Maybe try making it part of the four circles with the cartoons. I also agree with what Webmistress has said about making the purpose of the site clear and adding something to the results pages.

I definitely think this is a good idea and the name is really cute. Kids would like it.
