Reveiw Request - www.BidOutHosting.com
My latest and greatest
The idea is to have webmasters post there hosting requirements, then hosts can come and bid their monthly fee's according to what the webmaster needs (space, bandwidth, server side features, etc.).
Please let me know what you think about the look and feel, but more importantly let me know what you think about the idea. Is it something you would use??
Thanks!

And yes, I would use it. Great idea!
May I suggest the following:
1)
Add .NET support as a feature
2)
When I'd tried placing a bid, in the textfield "Provide the details of your bid (optional):" it wouldn't allow me to enter .NET as it thought I was tring to add contact information in the field.
3)
When I recieved a welcome email, I got the following text in an email "Thanks for creating an account at Bold Scripts."
Should that be "...an account atBidouthosting"
I'm guessing you've just copied and pasted some code from another of your site.
4)
Whats this? it returns a 404

Hey,
I think the main page is all to the left which i don't like. I like the content to be centred on the page.
I like the toolbar at the top of the page and the fact that it changes when you roll over it.
In general i reall ylike the idea of the hosts biding on you, but i reall ythink there should be a left hand side bar!

I'm headed over to add the .net as a feature for you. The reason you cannot post .net in details is because it thinks your trying to post a URL (which would lead to transactions outside the system..). Let me look into that welcome email (I copied the script from my other site boldscripts.com, which was another freelancer idea).
How did you end up at that /phpbb2 area??

I have 2 say well done with the idea, that is great. I create website for education use, and they find hosting is the main problem, becuase they have 2 get 3 quotes and most host dont offer the same thing all the time.
Do the bid get sent by email to, or could that be a thing to look at?
keep up the good work!

You can have the bids emailed to you when you post a project (there is a little checkbox at the bottom of the form for it).
As far as the PHPbb2 bit, it's because I originally used the layout for one of my forums (ibold.net), and liked it so much I decided to use it here =). I was going for a 'network' of sites look, so they all look very similar. Not sure if it's a good idea yet or not..
