Your header graphic is a little too big imho. Your dividers on your navagation menu could use some work. Your footer looks a little funky too. Go borderless on all your tables.

Your pics on that site are not pretty... you need to:

a) cut them out better so you dont see the white
or
b) set the BG color for the tables with the laptop to white

i dont like the header graphic either, not to bad though

Firstly Joe,

I do like this style of website / blog , but you need to pay attention to all the details that are currentley overlooked. For one, there are huge volumes of spelling mistakes, & the font & size, color in the computer section is very ugly!

The link headers at the top IMHO are too large & too white. Perhaps a nice rollover effect ?

Some links - namely the pics of your new PC dont work! ??

I do however like the colour scheme for the text & headings in the main blog section.

Is the site attractive to you? Why/why not?
Yes, it is respectable and original.

Is it easy to use? Can you find what you're looking for?
First glance doesn't do a whole lot to grab new people into the site. The top logo is large and unless the viewer is using a large resolution, they won't even see any of the content on your site. Also, the page is very long top to bottom without any anchors/links. Maybe try using some basic php to add quick links or anchors to the various "posts" in the main page.

Try to keep your color scheme consistant throughout your site. Jumping from blue to solid green in links to white in the store and media makes it seem a bit cheap. I'm also not a fan of the "media" and "Links" logos on their respective pages.

Hey, Joe. For the most part, the front page of the site looks nice. The only thing I really have to say about it specifically is what others have said, about the white on the images. You might try putting those pictures in a table that has white as a background image.

The site itself, however, has a different look on different pages. As it's a personal site, the inconsitency may or may not matter to you, but it doesn't look good. I like the look of the front, and think you should apply it to all the sections.

On the Computer Help page, you might try making the top header (JoeWorldOnline :: Computer Help) look similar to the header on the main page. ie Give the table a background color of blue, instead of no background.

All that aside, nice look on the front page.

Thank you all for your imput.

ALOT of you have said this, and I probobly should have warned you;

My site is pretty much under consruction. I just went through a MAJOR layout change; the old one was REALLY crappy. This weekend I will finally have time to go through and update the rest of the site. Yes I know; the "Links" page looks extremely crappy; and it has been on my list to get rid of for quite some time now.

As for the images in my blog- that alot of you have commented on-, those images are directly sourced onto cnet's review site.

Anyways- thank you for all of your imput.

Do you have some thing about copyright notices? No offence, but this is the second thread that you have commented on them.

Anyway, I'm going to be very positive and say that your site is OK. I don't like it, but there's nothing wrong with it.

But if you look at the bottom that table is way out of line as it is centered completely right but your content isn't.

And your forum is currently unavailable.

Besides the fact that the very first word that I saw on the site was mispelled, "Near Years Eve"???, the site is just a simple blogger. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing reallt right with it either.

Center the site.
Get your menu buttons on every page.
Be a little consistant with your website so that there has some uniformity. That may not be very important, but the drastic color changes make me feel like I am leaving the site and going somewhere else.

Keep on Truckin' Joe.
