Redesign - of a unique site

Here is how you can improve it:

(1) the graphics are a little blurry, and choppy.

(2) the graphics on the top for navigation are hard to read with the text going downwards, and no spaces inbetween the words.

Otherwise I like it.

- Edges of main graphic are blurred, and text is hard to read - as already said.

- Pale blue text on white background is also hard to read.

- I personally think that page, as a kind of intro/splash page, would look nicer with a coloured background... something to try, maybe.

- A few errors in the text. "Websites and graphics built to your (NOT you) specifications.": both the your-you error, and it's a sentence fragment. "with high graphics and logos" - you'll put their logo high up on the page? "(All Graphics..." Well, I should hope so! That sentence is unnecessary.

I really like this design , much more polished then the last ones. the one thing that stands out at me that needs improving are your buttons. I love the way you have them angled like that, but the text on them looks a little bit clumsy. I'm almost thinking that the text would look better sideways with the buttons instead of reading downward (hope that makes sence .
I like how everything on the first page fits on one screen shot.
Love the blue color. The link text overlaps the graphic (line) on my 640/480 screen size.

Ok, one more thing to add to all these other reviews. I personally think it would be a BIG improvement if you specified the font as Arial or Helvetica... I really don't like the default font!

I fixed the graphics i antialiased them all of them. I fixed the navigation buttons so there are spaces, and they are ligther with black text. I made the text a littlebit darker on the front page. so its easier to read. I fixed the text errors too. And i specified the font as ariel. the new address is http://www.21studios.com/test2/ incase you gutys liek this one better or something. Thanks

Very nice, but the target-shape in the upper left is still very blurred. This may be just an effect of compression; try getting rid of the gradient if that's the case, that will give you a small but sharp image.

Comments about changing the direction of the text, font, and colour still apply.

I really like it but would not have the button text set up in that way as Carolyn said.

I think the graphics look good now, i want to keep the slant on the buttons, but how do you think i should make the text so it looks good? Examples are appreciated. I made a new one with everything changed (for graphics) They dont look blurred any more. I also need an idea of how to put "21 Studios" on the top blank section. I want to add some mosue overs any ideas to where? Thansk guys. The address is still http://www.21studios.com/test2/ but its one whole image, not cut up, i think it will be esier to critic that way and save me time,,, Thanks again.

I liked the first design better (with the 21 studios in the upper right quad of the circle. Maybe need the 21 and studios closer together thought) I also liked the lightning on your current homepage. You might also try slanting the buttons to the right instead of left.

I think this is where you have the problem:

A:hover {text-decoration:underline; color:#3399FF;} A:link {text-decoration:none color:#3399FF;} A:visited {text-decoration:none color:#3399FF;} A:active {text-decoration:none color:#3399FF;}

Not sure about this, but I think you need semi-colons after then 'text-decoration:none' parts.

I got it done. Perfect. The buttons are easy to read, the text should no longer be purlple, and there are mouseovers, and still a reletively fast load time. if you all would take a look at http://www.21studios.com/beta4.9/ i know changing the address alot is hard to keep track of but this is the last one : ) Thanks alot. Aw Ken, I really liked the cut out circle better. As seen in 21studios.com/test The rollovers and text on the buttons look much better. By the way add [ url ] to your text to make clickable links. (Without spaces)

You should change your:
21studios.com logo
and the text beneath it
it looks messy with the chisel and sine blob effects.
Also make the font Verdana, Arial or something like that.
Another thing is that some of your lines do not line up right :
1. The one coming from the circle and going past the links
2. The curved one from the mouse over buttons to the curved lines next to the links
