Hi Umar,

This looks really good. Very nice design setup, it's easy to tell what the site is about and there seems to be a lot of content.

The naviagation in text instead of images will help with SEO because there is more weight placed on keywordds if they are linked (I think - someone can correct me if I'm wrong). That navbar looks good. I like the way you've used bright colours to make the key items stand out.

One thing I think could be improved on this site is the logo. It is a good logo but it looks kind of squished, like it shoud be wider. It would also be good if the polling station blended in to the design better. As it is it sort of looks like an ad because the design is so different. Also ad some padding to the table with the latest news and articles so things aren't so crammed together.

Good job overall!

I like the looks of your site. I like the choice of colors for the font. I understand what Megan means about the logo but it looks to me like the squished lettering is part of the design.

I do like it. I like the closeness of the letters. It creates a signature look.

I like the layout and design of the site, everything a user could need seems to be right on the front page and viewable without scrolling too much. I like the color scheme too, nice and varied to make it interesting enough to hold the eye. I'm partial to black on websites too for some reason.

I'd suggest to make the logo in the upper left clickable elsewhere throughout the site to take people back to the home page. Most sites do this now I'm told so I guess people will expect it, besides it being a little more convenient it couldn't hurt. I'd also suggest popping your links page to it's own window and keeping your page up in the background. I would also somehow group the elements in the right column that are part of your site together, seperate from the ads, like bounded in a box with a different background color. This would serve to visually seperate the items with useful content from the chaff of ads.

Good job on the sitemap too. Nice site.

Navigation loads painfully slow, and I am on 7 meg. DSL. You gain just as much in keywords with images, as you do with text. You just make sure you fill out your "alt" tags, which validation requires anyway. Smiling

bgogol there is a content HOME to back user to home page i think you did'nt see that, well now i mentioned, one more thing, which are the element in right column are grouped i think every thing is seperated from the one another in right column..

Hmm, the navigation bar isnt looking right in my browser. I'm using Firefox.

Have you used Layers in the navigation bar?

Apart from that i really like the design. Looks very professional.

Dosen't look well in IE6 either. There are overlaps, and some blank spaces.I'll see if I can give you a screen shot.

I don't know how to tell you to solve this problem. But it definitely has to do with all those   non breaking spaces, you have used. When I held cltr, and scrolled the mouse it cleared it up BUT!.

You need to use style, or php or anything else to make that nav panel. I don't think, you are going to have any luck this way. Smiling

I found your problem!. Something on your page, is causing the browser to change text size. That's why it fixes when you hold ctrl, and scroll. My validator ragged me about TD nesting, and no TD closing tags. And one Javascript that it said you could not use, in the place you have it - in a TD.

Other than those minor bugs, I don't know how that is happening - but it is.

i have'nt use any java script in the nav.php and the problem about TD let me check it again....

The validator did not say it was in the nav. It just indicated there was java in a td cell somewhere. The rest was unclosed, and improperly nested td's. This can be the result of a minor mastake somewhere. I've had a long string of warnings before, for just a little mistake on the page, causing the validator not to read properly.

Usually its an unclosed block level element, somewhere on the page.

Everything seems to be holding now. I tried to upset it, but seems to be locked down. All is looking A-OK. Smiling

I like it. No problems visually with the nav menus and design. However, I am also viewing in Firefox which shows these errors and warnings:

Most, if not all those errors could be due to the lack of a "DOC TYPE". The validator doesn't know whether its html, xhtml, or whatsits; so it will through errors. I would include a doc type, and then check it for errors. Smiling
