I like the top and the bottom, but the middle piece just doesn't fit in.
UI am no design expert, so maybe someone else could recommend somthing? atleast stretch out the middle table so it matches the top and bottom areas.

its starting to look more professional, but for that look to be rached, im sorry but you are going to have to find another place for those buttons you have on the left hand side!! i may be biased because im a webmaster, but i know that when i see those on a site they are either a link exchange or a money making link, and that takes away the proffessional look, well atleast in the position they are in now!! once those buttons have been removed, center the middle table so that it doesnt look misplaced!! i really can find anything else wrong with the site!! by the way i love the joke!!

As said before, it's starting to look more professional.
Now it looks sorta like Download.com.

Hmm... looks like a very similar type of layout to cnet.com. I pretty much agree with all the comments so far, and I would also suggest you move the logo to the left and put the banner ad on the right, because I think that would look better.

Yeah- I agree so far. It's looking better though.
1) Move the logo to the left of the ad banner.
2) The navigation on the top doesn't look right. I would at least put more then one space in-between each link.
3) You really need a logo!
4) The green bar doesn't serve much purpose.
5) You really need some content! I know what you have is good, but you need to fill up your pages more. Even using iSyndicate is good...

That is much better, but it kind of hurts my eyes to look at the text . I would recommend making a copy of the layer of white text, and making that text black, then pushing it 1 pixel down and 1 pixel to the right. That should make it fit in a little better.

Looking better. I also see you changed the navigation on the top. Nice. You just need some content to fill the rest of the site with...

No wonder I see that URL in my "Referrals".

I won't mind as long as you don't flame my website and me.

The joke of the day box colors just don't match the rest of the site.
Also it feels really awkward with the staggard columns. Either make the button column wider or the subscribe column smaller.

I like it better on that sude- yeah. The green bar has no purpose and doesn't go with the rest of the colors. Try this:
1) Don't have any text in the cell, and make the height 1 pixel.
2) Make the background of the cell a little darker then the cell above it.
Hope this helps!

I just decorated the front page with some icons, and rearranged the joke and newsletter box.
And whoa ho! I got on FlyCast!

Well I'm not sure about the icons, they look "old."
FlyCast? How the heck did you get on FlyCast? They say you have to have 100,000 page views a month or something like that. Oh well- I guess they want to be involved in any type of portal site...
